It was fun :) . And yeah, vehicles were quite bugged, but to be honest i remember a lot of people driving humvees @ 50miles on Snakeplain, either ending up flying down from a ravine or even getting stuck in the terrain at a 30? degrees angle.

The issues behind the 2.5 AI affect both the server performance and the ingame AI behavior (which is next to useless). I recall Spanky once tested a version of Interdiction (the one you can play on 2.5) with some bots, after a few minutes the server log file was spam-filled with gigabytes worthy of error messages caused by the missing or not completely working AI code. That leads to server slowdown within a short timelapse and eventually the server might crash and restart.

Opening the case voids the warranty? That's a shame. I wonder if there's any itx board that can fit a more or less similar c64 case...i don't get why they used Nvidia Ion 2 if the board was going to be custom (heat?).

Brightness wise, i use builtin display settings on my Asus. Much faster to switch through different settings for different uses.

I agree, i will watch the World Cup matches but the whole amount of money spent for the event is still nonsense, the stadiums are impressive but to me it seems like building cathedrals in the desert.
