All the original post does is make me realize how little money I have to do anything.  :(

:( That's not my goal. I've done all this on a limited budget (a couple of my components in my main computer were free, a couple others were purchased used on eBay and my server is mostly free parts I picked up locally. A lot of my stuff is right time, right place.) I'm just trying to show what can be accomplished. 2 years ago, I wouldn't have thought this would be possible. I just find cool things to do and explore them then share results so maybe others can enjoy it as much as I did :)

perhaps we should go back on topic for spanky :P

I second this. This thread is about me and the 1337 things my computer does.

Dann, I admit I still haven't listened to the MP3 you provided on MSN the other day. I'm waiting for a time where I can actually sit down and listen undisturbed so I can give it a fair chance.

I bet you whoever did that had no knowledge of sound waves. I bet half of the subwoofers overlap waves making that subwoofer wall useless.

People that actually get those in their care don't care about quality. As long as all of the other people outside can hear it they feel their purchase is justified. I find it fucking annoying.

Good point. I bet most that do that don't even have mid-range speakers or tweeters, just subs to vibrate as they drive. Not to mention, it severely limits what you can put in your vehicle.

that would drown out ur driving noises :D

That looks expensive. It also looks fragile and like it would take up a lot of hauling room. Expensive & fragile don't work well with me.

still, not my cup of tea i've never been tempted in the slightest to go more then 1 monitor
Once you try it, it's hard to go back.

tell me when u get a beasty sound system for ur car then we'll talk :P
Won't ever ever happen. I don't spend nearly enough time to warrant putting any more money in it and even if I did, the background noise of driving would take away a lot of enjoyment.

That's a pretty nice surge protector. That would allow you to completely kill power to your monitors whilst leaving your computer on. What happened to your USB hub? :( I also fixed your images.

Yea, I saw the age of the printer. I never saw an original price though, just current refurbished ones going for $300 or so right now. I'd probably be lucky if I got $150 on Craigslist for it, especially around here. I plan on using it a bit before selling though.

Ok, I'll try to explain. Look at this:

http://i23.ebayimg.com/02/i/001/24/b5/e17d_35.JPG

The lanyard attaches to the clip so if the camera slips out, it won't fall to the ground, get run over or lost. The black & white lines are elastic and they hold the camera onto the foam via pressure. So it's just like setting the camera on the bumper except I added foam for grip and elastic cords for pressure. Get it?

can you take a picture with the camera mounted in there? I dont quite understand how it works.

Both the universe and my brain would fold in half if I tried to. I only have the 1 camera.

I couldn't figure out what to eat and faced with the dilemma as to what to do with the chicken breasts that came in the 8-piece fried chicken (since I don't typically eat them) I thought I could make a salad. I found some romaine and some caeser dressing and whipped up this: It also has some olive oil and pepper for flavor. Should be interesting:
