Yea, with FreeTrack, you can use the Wii remote. Very fascinating stuff.

That is the entire camera. There's a USB receiver chip on the reverse side of the PCB along with some resistors and crap but that PCB is all there is.

kfc refresher towel

skrewy, the class and sophistication you bring to this forum is unrivaled.

EDIT
Looking at the link your sig has (your battletracker account), how did you manage 15 roadkills with air vehicles? I do that on BF2 every so often but... 15?

Watch on...

Quite possibly the worst game I've seen, even without the racism.

The old saying 'dig straight through to China' got me thinking. This is what I found: http://www.antipodr.com/

I plan to get setup with a tracking system now. It should be less than $30 total. Check it out more: http://www.free-track.net/english/hardware/point_model_gallery.php

Since Logitech is lame and won't make drivers for older cameras to use on newer versions of Windows, I'm going to recycle my old one. In the process of taking it apart I found the camera part pretty interesting:

I use 90% alcohol. It can leave streaks but unless you look at your monitor without turning it on, it's a non-issue. I don't trust commercial cleaning products because either they're just alcohol or they have some kinda nasty chemical (this is my suspicion, not fact) that I don't want to purchase or use.

Games & Programming / ReClock - Proper video playback & WASAPI output on Windows 7
« on: Tuesday, August 24, 2010, 02:14:18 AM »
I've been using this program a while and it's fantastic. It basically syncs playback with refresh rate so you don't get stuttering and drop-outs. It also has an option for WASAPI output (which bypasses the Windows Mixer for audio). The only thing is that if you play videos that are 24FPS, you need to have a 48hz or 96hz refresh rate which isn't too common. It will still play but it won't be 100% optimal. It works great for 30fps videos on 60hz monitors. I get perfectly sync'd audio and stutter-free playback now :)

:D I knew that wasn't your goal. It looks really cool and like something I would want to do. I mean add in the two additional monitors and the extra PC components and that's a lot of money.

It's just 2 extra monitors that can be found cheap on Craigslist. You can even use 2 but that sucks for bezels. They don't have to be the same size and as far as PC components you need... just a plain extra DX9 capable graphics card works.
