For once, I'll agree:
If you look it up, you'll see that they did do a great job in terms of battery, performance, screen and operational system.
That aside, the rest is relatively irrelevant.
I'm really fucking disappointed at how Apple has became a main-stream "fancy" company.

Game Reviews / The Saboteur
« on: Saturday, January 30, 2010, 23:44:25 PM »Basically, you are an Irish lad roaming around Paris, France. You and France's Resistance share a similar hatred for Nazis, and so you decide to brutally erase them out of Paris. The whole game resolves around Sex, Alcohol, Dealers and killing Nazis --being the latest one of the most intensive aspects of the game. Image-wise, I am somewhat speechless. The artwork is simply amazing, the feel of "belonging to the past" was pretty well nailed and even-though the game doesn't have the best 3D treatment, it still looks magnificent! Music-wise, it's very jazzy and bluesy alike --with some of the very well known classics going on, as well as tunes people might not be familiar with, although still being great in their own ways.
In a way, this game is a mix between GTA and Assassin's Creed ---as you can also roam around the city, climb buildings, perform stunts, etc.
I love every aspect of this game. Really worthy the money.

I know this doesn't rank as "Software-based", but I like to think this board exists for all kind of Mac-related things, in a way.
I am sure some of you have heard about it, some others have dug further on the subject, and others are simply clueless.
Apple released their new invention, the iPad --the mobile device connecting the average phone and the laptops (their words, exactly!)

I'd like to hear your guys's thoughts on this. Quite personally, the only reason I'd see myself using one of those would certainly be portfolio-related. For example, I could own a desk-computer laying down at my place, and carry one of these to showcase my work in interviews and as such. Apart from the showcasing-factor, that is very less ---or even nothing--- that would justify spending the hundreds on that for.

Hi guys, question, what are regular times that players are in-game? Had so much fun over 2 decades ago, would like some of that nostalgic gameplay :)
so let me get this straight- (YOU) the community ‘pub admin’ banned me because we’re only supposed to play on one name! thought you were encouraging gameplay…then again you’ve got 0 people to play in the last 3 years. or is it a powertrip because you only play on servers you have admin on (thats why you play on US servers with ~120 ping between 12am and 3am your time) cheers to you mate- just trying to connect the dots let me know if you want to make amends :D

So we know now that you think there are people with assist admin friends who turn blind eyes, we know that you think that your friends would be banned in an instant (FYI, there were friends of you who misbehaved multiple times in the past, but didn't get banned like that), and I see now that even when you clearly had a response, you keep trying on other places again, acting as if you didn't know.
I want to politely ask you to stop that. If someone is creating a toxic environment, we will take action. If there is no current misbehaviour, we do not have the manpower/energy/priority to actively hunt, but we do block the creation of 2nd accounts. That's the final thing, and that won't change.
So please, focus the energy on enjoying the game. And if you see active misbehaviour on servers, report it with screenshots and we will do as it fits.
But if there is no misbehaviour anymore, let it go.

It was probably a bug Tomato. Try logging out of the Assist client and then logging back
