Agree Eddie, these kind of admins act like a boss, koden probably here the smartest admin since he doesn't talk much and acts as chill as my neighbour next door with Bong in his hand. Could be that eliz took over their mind asset and wants them to behave well, well in this small community doesn't help much does it now?

I'm not a moderator anymore since about, October last year? I don't even remember (my choice, anyway). That said, the point for the staff was to ensure some respect among the people ingame and on the shoutbox. Would you blame them for posting a thread like this? I've seen some pretty awful things being posted on the shoutbox, for no valid reasons other than venting rage/hate/other negative feelings. Heck, i reckon it hasn't to be heaven on Earth but imho (honestly imho!) too much people is either venting everyday's negative mood ingame or just overreacting about a game. Which is supposed to be fun in the first place...

Dude, having a CUP as avatar will not help you to get laid.
Really?? I'm Female Noob!!!

I feel ashamed for Pit, lol.

Most entertaining thread i've seen on this forum in a long time.

Now, you are playing for fun, but after because of your job / family or other problems (life is full of those ...) you will start playing to release the stress - that I can guarantee you.

So see you next time ...

Totally agree.

Drama & Spam / Re: SB Drama

I'm afraid it's just neglectance and handwaving on your part. Can you quote any official statement from government/army about abandoning rights to this thing?

True. And the only conclusion is, some things must have gone wrong and caused tension, which results in such critique voices.

Yes, for real. And the explanation goes below:

You wrote an essay about how to behave on SB. In particular, not to spam it. Oh the irony... You are in no position to judge others in this matter, because (IMO) you post a lot of what could be considered spam.

And that explains Koden's wondering why people object this.

I quitted playing this game because i got bored and because of the average disrespect, that totally takes the fun away for me and for others aswell. To me, it appears as you and AAC are just willing to dissect and debase the few rules that the staff here is trying to enforce. Heck, i've seen plenty of sh!t being posted on the shoutbox, but little really worth arguing and that was going to make sense, and with that i mean even arguments against the Assist - people (including you) don't have valid ones, otherwise it would have been shat down already!

Back in 2011, no one would have been so shameless to held up a matter like that. It's obvious all the talk it's about the ways and the manners, and not about the objective of the Assist itself. Damn, people are even arguing about shoutbox moderation? For real?

You are right, being on TS is just great: ghosting from your TS buddies can get you even more POINTS.

pff ahah another great attempt from you :D

This one was recorded kind of out of the match, but that depicts a bit the mood ^^ -> https://soundcloud.com/bacon-bully/yesh

It's obvious that all here saying they play "for fun" are just plain liers. They are frag whore just like everyone else, they just try to pretend they are "better".

I always play with this people on AA4, from a clan called TW (Teabagging Warfare xD)...you should play on the server and be on the Teamspeak channel to get the idea of how it can be great to be among people who just want to meet and play online while having some fun and making jokes to each other :D .

BSP hole? Airfield was an awful map back in AA3, and by the look of it id bet it wasn't exactly a masterpiece in its bits either.

About honor i have my thinking : why do you get honor by killing !
I would say you get honor when you give medic or bring the Obj back without so less possible killing adder players!!!
Crazy thinking world!????

There's a major note to be done for that matter in this game, helping out a mate as a medic will stop the bleeding and if i recall correctly you can only help a few mates, in aapg you can literally revive people (who will then have 25 health points) once or twice (depending on the server setting) and you can revive as many people as you'd like to and as much as you want to. There's a much different use for a combat medic in AA2 than in AAPG, and as a medic on AAPG you can make a night&day difference while on AA2 you'll hardly will.

Of course this doesn't meant that any of said games sports the right approach. They're just different games with a different gameplay.

Points? Overrated. I would rather care for a good interaction with the people ingame as you said, Vanoke.

Feedback & Suggestions / Re: Sound of the weapons
« on: Tuesday, October 21, 2014, 13:12:37 PM »
I always thought the sound quality of the weapons sounds was pretty good, on AA2, while i don't like a lot the weapon rendition on AAPG (but the game is still in beta and the sound reproduction isn't overwhelming well executed all around).

Anyway, there's a free library project for weapon sounds that was released a few months ago:

http://firearmsfx.moonfruit.com/

(it was funded on kickstarter)
