You can manually mute any player by going F12 --> players --> mute

And yes it might be boring while spectating, and like Killaman, I like to socialiez too while playing, but like I said maybe it will encourage some players to join the teamspeak.

Or maybe it will be a big fail, just an interesting idea to try out

If you came on the forums earlier last year, and the year before and the year before you'd know ArmyAntiCheat (who goes by many other names here on the forums) has a bad history on Assist, ingame and out-game, so that's why Teddy reacts like that.

Everytime Army doesn't get what he wants, he pulls out the "OMG IM GONNA CALL THE US GOVERNMENT AND YOUR GAME WILL BE SHUTDOWN" show, so it should be understandable he's not the most beloved one around.

You mean the "Report In" button. That's true, it's kind of the only negative point I imagined, but people still have a radar, and I feel like it might encourage people to go on teamspeak ...

Hello guys,

I recently got a clanserver up and running (thanks to my favourite pt.  :style: ). After a few minutes of gameplay there were already players arguiing with eachother like 'omfg flash more' 'omfg camp more' 'you are a haxor' etc etc, so I thought to myself, I would like to have a server where everybody is muted. You join the server just to play, not to chat or to argue with people. The "enemy spotted" function still works when you mute people so it doesn't destroy teamwork too much, and if people really want to talk they are always welcome on the teamspeak.

I am curious to know if people think it's worth a try or if it's just annoying for everyone? And also, would it be possible for a coder or someone else to create a mode where everybody is instantly muted when they join the server ? Or would it have to be done manually each time?

And that's the very reason this game isn't called Battlefield or Call Of Duty. Each game has his characteristics, and I'm sorry to say but high jumps, rocket ammo etc sound more as Call Of Duty to me. AA doesn't have the reputation to be such a game, so why change it now?

Yes I remember very well, but you understand me wrong. I could still have the same fun from time to time on modded servers and still don't need them to be tracked. All I hear from you guys is "fun, fun, fun" but what it really sounds like is "stats, stats, stats".

I've seen quiet a few times people saying "get rid of the tracker, because it ruins the fun" and that's so true. So if admins are going to track mods, they're gonna send a message that tracker IS important, which it's not ...
