it was an old crt TV 15" so nothing got lost and so i could dispose it the way it should had to be destroyed...

The proper way to dispose of CRT's is to give them to a hazardous waste place that properly disposes of them using methods that don't involve a baseball bat. I'm guessing you had fun breathing the phosphorous? I don't wanna know what you did with the leaded glass and lead solder.

Samsung should probably be recalling those models of tv's instead of being jewish.

Yea. What kind of dumbass engineer puts capacitors that are rated lower than the voltage they'll be handling? It's common sense that's shared among people that aren't electricians or engineers.

Knight, just a FYI, you can put any voltage cap you want on there, the value you can't change is the uF (micro-farads). You could put 16v caps on there and be perfectly fine. The only problem with doing that is that with higher voltage caps, the physical size increases so you will have to make sure that you have room. I might have some spare ones if you're interested. I just looked and the closes spare caps I have are 6.3v 2200uF which would probably explode the instant you turned it on.

Nichion rates their caps differently, they have different model numbers meant for specific tasks. Like the above model is calls PS and is meant for switching power supplies, check out the datasheet:

You'd make a good president. Seriously though, I would agree. I would have more confidence if things weren't so shitty. If people actually cared and demanded change. Change can't happen until the majority wants it to and seeing that it's not happening, doesn't give me much faith.

First you said it was illegal, now you're saying it's immoral. Your reasoning has just turned into opinion. Tax WILL make people pay attention, even if it's just proposing a tax, people will get worked up. That's not an opinion. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to pay a government tax on food when I don't get to choose what is and what isn't good but it will show the clueless people a little bit of what's going on.
