I used to have a flight yoke and pedals but sold the setup for a few reasons: they weren't built for racing, I didn't like the pedal movement and I really enjoyed the wad of cash I was given in exchange. I'll be buying something less than half it's value and probably be enjoying it far more. I can't wait!!!!!

HA!
I've decided that I'm going to try really hard to buy a wheel and pedals before playing F1 2010 again. I think that will make it tons easier to play accurately.

I could give a bunch of reasons why I would never own one of those.

When I have something to say, I will comment. Meanwhile, I'm still reading your posts. In fact, I read your recent one about words before posting this.

I don't wanna share the eBay auctions I'm going after
This is it though:
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/441/320
I read that it doesn't have an auto-switching power supply, meaning it only accepts 120v so it may be a US-only product...

I've done some researching in the past. I would go with anything Logitech. You have to be careful though, some products just don't work in Windows Vista/7 since Logitech didn't want to pay to get WHQL drivers (or something like that). I'm eyeballing a Logitech MOMO set on eBay. Logitech has Windows 7 software available for it and it has the carpet-grip pedals, shifter and MOMO rubber wheel. Realistic enough for me and within a reasonable budget ($40-$60). There's some $300 Logitech sets but I wouldn't trust myself with a controller that expensive lol.

Same here. They're pretty cheap on eBay.

I'll just say that this game has a pretty hard learning curve. It's quite a bit different than DiRT which is nice but also a challenge. Driving so fast, you need better control of the steering which I will have to calibrate my gamepad better. I haven't given up but I'll need to play some more before I post much more about it.
