Its really easy, one of you set a time on a track and record it, the other match or beat it. Rinse Repeat.

GTFO.

What? Are you ignoring my comments because you think they're silly or something?

I'm with skrewy. You obviously don't have a skateboard for transportation, you have it for tricks. Most bikers use theirs for transportation, those that don't, you see them at skateparks. Skateboarding is an awkward form of transportation. You can't stop immediately or turn real sharp to avoid someone without flipping the board somewhere. Think about the people that are walking and have a skateboarder zoom by them discourterously. My argument is all about safety with about 20% of practicality mixed in.

Quote
A pedestrian is a person traveling on foot, whether walking or running. In some communities, those traveling using roller skates or skateboards are also considered to be pedestrians.
Wikipedia just failed me.

wait you aren't allowed to skate any where?

This will probably get split to a new thread but I got to thinking about this and wanted to comment. I'm not a skater, never have been and never will be. IMO, the only place where it's "allowed" is private property and skate parks. Because side walks are for walking. Fuck skateboarders and roller bladers that use them, it's discourteous to pedestrians. I wouldn't want some jerk speeding by where he could just as easily knock me over or something. Now, there's bike lanes for bikers, I'm not sure that it's entirely a good idea but I think those lanes should be reserved for those people on any kind of unmotorized wheel. The lanes don't seem to be often used but it's a good place.

*EDIT*
HAHA, Knight, I was typing this while you said that.

most diesel cars can run on filtered vegetable oil.

Yea but isn't there something about that you should change hoses since the rubber breaks down faster with the oil?

This one guy I know uses antifreeze when he can't get ahold of used cooking oil.
That's terrible.

Averaging a 4 mpg increase per tank in my Honda Odyssey (20gal)I should get an 80 extra MPG! That's 80 mpg that only cost me 1.45$! (My math may be way off please comment if it is!)

I think you mean 80 extra miles on your tank. If Acetone gives 80 more MPG, everyone would do it :P I'll probably look into this more. Keeping tires filled up is important in many ways.

nfs most wanted
nfs shift
grid
dirt 2
(will get nfs high stakes)

i win so i think i should get mans's wheel thingy

Most Wanted is ok. I played it for a while and while it's fun, it's just old. Shift was cool with it's effects but is to difficult (at least for me using a gamepad) and it kept crashing a lot and had PhysX issues.

I'll be looking forward to playing DiRT2 for the 2nd time, GRID for the 2nd time (actually finishing it this time) and F1 2010 for the first time as my first F1 game since Mario Andretti's game on the Sega Genesis.
