General Chat / Re: Minimap is to big & some advice for a new player
« on: Friday, June 13, 2014, 22:10:40 PM »
In Assist go to settings and then video and there will be a slider for SAI(minmap) size. If your map is huge and doesn't change with the size option, it's broken. If so, do a reset+repair AA in the install tab.

As for your gamma/brightness/contrast settings, in Assist go to settings, video, the check fullscreen. Then the in-game sliders will work.

I don't really have any tips other than play a lot and learn the maps. Practice and get better.

Also, your English isn't bad at all. It's actually quite good.

I should have locked this thread after the first post. This was supposed to be a remind of peoples' sacrifices for freedom and look what it's turned into. Such a disgrace.

Took you long enough. Sitting back making money for the first year. Selling to the Germans. Nice picture of Henry Ford in Hitlers office.
Probably would have a different attitude if you were one of the people that had to hide in bomb shelters while Germany bombed the shit out of England. Or if you were one of those British soldier who had to run into a slaughter on the beaches of Normandy. I bet it's real easy to post shit like that when you didn't have to experience it. Show some fucking respect to the people that made your free lifestyle possible. Those people had a complete lack of the security that your dumbass now takes for granted when posting garbage like that.

Your Assist launcher must be in the same folder as the 25Assist lib files.
Then, right click on the launcher, go to properties, then go to compatibility, then check the box that says "run as administrator." Hit apply and you should be good to go.

Unfortunately we do not control anything about Battletracker. Any account problems need to be taken up with the battletracker staff and they're not the most active bunch. Sorry but there's nothing we can do.

If anyone is interested The History Channel ran a really good documentary on D-Day titled "D-Day in HD". It had WWII vets talking about what they did. It was amazing and pretty sad at times.

Well your username is "InTe!_GotMilk" without the quotes. Try any password you've ever used.
If you can't get it to work, we can update your new account with the honor, but you'll still have to do the training.

70 years ago today, on June 6th, 1944, the Allied forces started the invasion of Normandy, France to start the liberation of Europe from Nazi control. I'm not going to make this post long and full of historical facts and occurrences, I would just like everyone to remember the sacrifices the Allies made to help free Europe from Nazi control and remember the thousands of lives that were lost, civilian and military, during the invasion and war. Regardless of  the political affiliation or national hostilities of today, let's not forget the cost of the freedoms most of us enjoy today.
That is all.
