Although, mine's good enough for my AMD chip, if I went to Intel, I'd probably go for 2400MHz or something.I've yet to see someone say jumping from 1333 to 2133 was noticeable. I know there's a big speed difference, but the consensus seems to be that it's not noticeable in gaming performance. Ram might be cheaper than a GPU, but by not getting new ram I then have $100 more to spend on a GPU. I don't plan on getting an SSD anytime soon.
I would be surprised that in gaming it wouldn't be noticeable. Things are swapped in and out of RAM constantly in games, it should help out. Also, if you happen to get a Samsung SSD, you can use RAPID which will use your RAM to boost read/write speeds. I've seen over 1GB/s read speeds on 2133MHz memory and a Samsung 840 EVO.

Is is "authorization slot closed"? Because that usually means that assist stopped running while you were playing or lost connection to the auth server.

Those IMC's are great at handling high clocks.Every source I see says that faster ram(2133 vs 1333) is pretty much unnoticeable when it comes to real world performance in games and applications. I am trying to adapt but nowadays you get naded in hospital too...
It is the most popular because thats the map where you can get lots of points if ya know what I mean.
The main point I am making is that 203 is so lame, I don't think it would take a bitching at you for removing them, but hey, thats why there is a backup^^

Also, I only need 8gb, 16 max. 24 for me is overkill, I don't do anything that requires 16gb, much less 24.

« on: Wednesday, June 18, 2014, 15:26:26 PM »I laughed at this too. Whoever has the advantage, it's fking unfair. Well it's obviously more fair than any Assault/Defence maps. But I must say the advantages lays clearly to Escort, even more now that the B slot can't be exploited anymore.I feel like the fact that Ambush can win by killing only 1 person(VIP) makes up for the side imbalance. Perhaps that's why they did it that way.
- Escort can spam faster. West wings, and docks. With 3 organized spammers (1 ww+ 2 docks) the round is already half lost.
- All escort has to do is smoke Ambush side and sit and scope for rushers coming out of the smoke.
- Vip can hide 1 minute up if it's needed, get some backup, and run through one of the 10 smokes that block enter veiw from Ambush.
- It's easier to hide in Esc building than on WW roof (however some nasty roofbuggers exploit it)
- Easy sh!t to hold helipad with 2 players on escort side, even when ambush smokes helipad.
So all in all the map is unbalanced in my opinion. The 203 is just a small part of it. Don't change anything to the map, people play it cauz they can get easy kills by repetition of same movements and some blind 203 spams.

We won't be changing any original map that way. Too much bitching. Hospital is one of the most popular maps in the game right now and if we drastically change it, who knows what will happen? We might have a bunch of people leave. Yeah the map is unfair, yeah the 203's are lame, but if you don't like those, there are plenty of other maps to play.
