Miscellaneous / Re: What you think of Trump just curious
« on: Thursday, January 25, 2018, 03:52:50 AM »
Your land? Since when do you, own any part of Earth? Don't want to get all religious, but technically, its God's property and we're just his toys.
People go where there is job and prospects, I see nothing from with other coming over to work on a different patch of land which would yield higher income to them.
It's the same with the time of Industrial Revolution, people moved from countryside into cities, and I don't see the city people claiming the 'city' as theirs and telling the country folks to "f*ck off" - that's just night right. We're all Gods people - technically ;)
This is a very odd paragraph. What god are you talking about? Christian god? Muslim god? A god of another religion?
You say, the land "technically belongs to god", but where do you get this technicality? From your religion? I don't know of a credible "guide to the world" written by "the god(s)".

Also, out of curiosity, from your drive of Estonian Independence and nationalistic view, are you currently living in Estonia, or have to emigrated elsewhere into EU?
Because the trend that I witness in the EU, is that Eastern European cheap labour is welcome in prosperous country's like UK. So you, foreign people, come over while leaving your beloved Independent home... what's the point of independence if the first thing you do is get as far away as possible? :O
I do still live in Estonia.

I actually got a response from Homey saying that he'll keep the AA pages up for a couple more months to give us time to create a replacement. He said that after so long he just wants to move on from Battletracker and I can't really blame him for it. He's done so much for this game I think he deserves a thanks from everyone.

Since the US Army dropped official support for AA2 in late 2011, your "AA account" doesn't exist anymore.

We're trying to revive the registration capabilities. Since we don't control battletracker, this will take some time, however.

If you already had an account, you can give me a username and I can see if I can find it for you - your old login details would still work.

Honor Claims / Re: Honor Claim!
« on: Friday, January 19, 2018, 15:08:07 PM »
OK, so this one:
http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/858276/

But unless you have something that shows your honor higher than that, there's nothing I can do, unfortunately.

Not to worry, honor doesn't really mean a whole lot nowadays (did it ever?).

Hey!

Welcome back to AA2! :)

Do you have an account you can log onto right now?

As for the thing you linked to, that's just a place holder - everyone has the same stats there (other than the username).

We don't need tracker only need a system that allows players to login in assist.......

Again Merlin, poss, killa, teddy,  thanks for all your time you've put into this game to keep it alive long as it's been
Something that count honor would be good as well (although not essential).
As Merlin said, ELiZ made most of this a few years back already.
Now it's a matter of enabling new user registration and secure logins (as well as existing accounts, hopefully). But since ELiZ hasn't been on here for over a year and seems to be hard to reach some of the process can take longer than it would ideally.

General Chat / Re: Are people still playing?>
« on: Wednesday, January 17, 2018, 02:30:57 AM »
There are still some people playing.

However, since the way we used to authenticate users (battletracker.com) is on it's way down and doesn't let you register new users, new users cannot be created at this moment.
Some of the admins are working on a fix. The exact ETA is hard to project right now, but if all goes well, there could be something by the end of the week.

With that said, if you already had a battletracker.com username and password, login with those details should still work. You can still log on to battletracker.com with your old details (but you won't be able to do anyhting there) and if you managed to do that, the same details work for Assist.

We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Anti-Cheat / Re: rapid single fire SVD Glitch?
« on: Tuesday, January 16, 2018, 05:30:12 AM »
is it the same bug that happens with AR sometimes where you might shoot the whole mag at once?
Not entirely sure. It's been years since I last got it. I remember it was on Urban Assault, it was Forceclassed.
I was like "Why is this not firing?!" until my mag was empty (which was very fast) and only then I realized it was actually firing every time, I just couldn't hear the shots and there was no recoil. Fairly certain the fire rate itself doesn't change, it's just that the tremendous recoil of the weapon prevents from firing so fast with it in normal operation.

I've experienced this bug once or twice during the time I've played AA. It does happen - not sure how or when - but it's extremely rare.

Will i get the donation heart next to my name in-game by any chance?
Since the site's plugin doesn't work, I'm waiting on Nick to verify your donation. I'm sure it's gone through, but better safe than sorry :)

A very effective way.
He's already realized the error of his ways and changed his username.

Rest assured, it went to the correct place.
Right now the module on the site seems to be malfunctioning, I'm afraid. The target is the correct one, it just doesn't log them correctly for some reason.
