General Chat / Re: Permanent ban all players on Tournament !!!!

Yeah if your server name is coloured it will kick people out and not save the tourny file.

Happens at the end of round when the file tries to save.  Not fixed until later versions.

not all playing for some reason, seems people login and leave assist open even though their not playing then game)out of those 200 people, 4 were on mac and 4 were on linux, PATHETIC

Would that be accounts logged in to the server and then not playing?  Mines usually like that.  So count me as 1 full time log in..

So does that mean we can move to a newer "Windows" only version then.  :)

In my experience anything above 40-50 fps is usually fine.  Its like TV, most people cant tell the frame rate has dropped even at 18fps and not until 12.5 fps.   But Computer Games are a little different and it is usually noticeable at under 30fps.

Also only having a 24" monitor I probably wasn't using 1680 x 1050 because it would be almost impossible to see the difference if you go down a resolution or 2.  probably 1280 x 1024 or ws equivalent.  I don't play BC2 anymore.  I play MV2/MW3 on occasions.  Still like AA too much.

go play cod if you wana have a knife...

I'm +2 on no knifes, the game design doesnt really allow you to sneak up on people and that is the idea of knifes.  Simply learn how to reload without being shot or cod play cod which is designed for knifes.

Shotguns are ok for messing around.

I registered myself to AAOtracker 20.08.2004 so I started playing the same day or the day before that. The version must have been 2.1.0. Thanks to my army pal who linked me this wonderful game back then. Too bad my old buddies disappeared during the years...

Would have been version 2.5 or near too it..

    List of SFHospy Bugs

Quote from: OICURMT!;44879
The following...

[LIST=1]
  • WWR Exploit at the A/C boxes
  • WWR protection zone against 203's... (not many people know about this one!)
  • 3rd floor escort at the middle window
  • Smoke penetration at the garage door
  • Flash displacement bug (never fixed BTW)
  • Back alley bin not penetrable (even by hackers)
  • Nade/Run exploit
  • See through walls (fixed in v2.5, but I think you can still see from WW lower into the hospital).
  • Ladder glitch (only works about 1/2 the time on hospy for some reason... thankfully, it's completely useless on the hospy map).
  • No noise on ladder (this one use to bug the crap outta me, as I used sound ALOT...)
  • NetSpeed exploit (eliminates flash effects)
  • Weapon switch exploit (which FDG uses all the time, doesn't really bug me, as it only saves you about 1/2 second of time and I'm a god on SFHospital, so you guys really need that extra 1/2 second ... lol :lolz:)
  • That stupid no sniper gun bug (which isn't really a bug, but "parental feature")
  • 16-bit video bug/exploit

I didnt have problems on BFBC2 havent played BF3.  Mines also a XFX 275 GTX so may be slightly different or could be your other specs holding it back a bit.

Look here to compare

Bang for bucks these are cheap and still a top rated card and no game I've tried slows it down.

That's why when I upgraded last that was the only hw I kept.

You need to have a http server running that is pointing to your pb/svss folder. your host would need to do this for you. Its the same as in 2.8.5

It appears they have Web services running already so that's a start.

For testers, there should be another icon;
Killaman, Go_Cat... and this is where I draw a blank.

As I said im not really a Dev and I don't know what criteria you want or expect for a icon and am not really expecting to get one, but  I have contributed to 2.5 since the Auth shutdown. Mainly on  knowledge I have on the game and stuff I have provided which I'm sure has helped somewhat with the development so not really sure where this sits and I'm sure I will continue in the future.  For instance I probably spend about 20-30 hours just trying to figure out how to open weapon slots by going through every game versions and code and trying a range of stuff to the point where I exhausted all my skill and needed the experts to continue.

I don't think editing maps would exactually class you as a Dev either, I've also been doing this since 2.8.0.  But not on 2.5  series maps.  There are also the guys like Titan Tree, Chevy and a few FDG guys I know of that have done allot in this and other areas in keeping this game going.  Which mean when the 2.8.5 auth went down we still had players for 2.5.

I think you could have a ICON to give more of a recognition of sorts to people who have contributed to the game, but not necessarily straight Dev's.  There should be enough icon's to do this.

Started about the time the Version went from 2.3 to 2.4, was on dial up until V2.7 came out.  I have played all version's over the years and have most of them downloaded so if anyone ever want's a game old school.

Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT (9573)

General protection fault!

History: UGameEngine::Tick <- Level Bridge Crossing <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Realloc <- 706D7564 0 FArray <- FArray::Realloc <- 0*2 <- FMallocWindows::Free

Does anyone knows the solution to fix tis problem, i cant play an its making me crazy. HELP!!!!

It usually because your Windown OS or Drivers isnt up to date or you have a hardware problem.

I would start updating your video card driver especially if it does it after you get in game.  Then see what Windows updates there are and install them, restart your computer each time.

If that still doesnt work another bug meant you must completed uninstall AA and make sure to delete the directory totally.   Then reinstall.
