If anyone has to cheat to be better than anyone at a video game, then in RL they probably couldn't survive the first 2 minutes of a real firefight. I just don't get it, why do yo need to cheat, it doesn't make you better then myself or anyone else. Just proves you can cheat, that's it plain and simple. I know guys are doing it but just because they doing it doesn't make it ok. I play late at night and I know I am being waxed by people cheating because there are no admins on. No sense in going any further, if you cheating admit to it apologize and maybe they will let you play. If caught again they probably will castrate you.

Hear ya on that one, it was too small before. Now to tweak the colors so I can read that damn awful blue on dark background. Would prefer Neon colors.......

Wrong!! and I did search.......Sir..........This option is not without Auth this was an option to join a server on your lan that was internet accessed. Meaning you are local lan to the server everyone else is coming from the internet. So if you host a server on your local lan you can access it and play or admin without issue. PB and auth all work as is. Sorry you tried to poke but you really stepped in it.

i still dont get why players who have played this game for about 12 years have to do all the training again.

this will bring a loss of many players.

Simple, new database new start clean slate for everyone. Also if you worried about the training and want to by pass it, well by pass the game, this is not the one for you. Complaining about changes that are not due to the game being made playable, but due to changes because the original DB is not available is really stupid. If your have been playing as long as you say you have, you must be at least an adult. Act like one and accept it as part of the game being made playable again and enjoy. That simple, not that stupid to be complaining about.

Guys these guys are doing this for donations, not your grubby little comments. Yes things break when there are upgrades and if your system is stock with no add ons it should be working. If you have something or have had something at some point in your time of playing do a fresh install that may clear it up. This complaining about them helping keep a game alive that was dead (plug pulled on) due to them making you update to AA3 and now AA4, go play them. Otherwise standby and let them figure out the issues that crop up during updates and quit your Bitching. It's free and they don't have to do this for any of us.

I think the 64 player was lost in translation. I was wanting to know if we could implement a map of Mogadishu (Black Hawk Down for those who don't know) which was a game with 64 players on a map. Create our own map and test it to it's limits. I keep hearing camping, why is he camping? and all that jazz........folks real  Assault and Defence requires tactics and strategy, none of which is without teamwork or sitting in one position to defend an objective. Example AR is cover fire on Assualt and means basically cover an area with field of fire. On Defence it means hold your ground at all costs by laying suppression fire across the filed to keep the enemy at bay. I think you all got CS issues here. AAO was never intended to be a CS replacement. Teamwork, Strategy and tactics which I see little in a game. Everyone forgets the objectives and wants kills. Wins are either objectives taken or other team has all died  trying to reach their objectives. The game is about Objectives..............my opinion so fire away

The lights would actually add a new perspective to the game in some of the maps. Like insurgent camp in the building  the lights wouldn't be on if being attacked. how about a light switch?

The old one I had back in 2005 a Mogadishu map fairly large, with today’s servers and bandwidth it should be able to host 64 players 32 a side......... The other idea was destructible lights, lights that blew out when naded or shot out. Is this possible?
