Yea, try the repair AA option in Assist. Seems odd though, those things can't be easily changed.

me too i would love to see it on urban :)

Move it there then. I really don't care what you guys do with it as far as forceclassing, map changes, setting changes, etc. The admin pass is posted on the first post of this thread. I have it setup so that after 25 minutes without players, it switches between mAAps.

Oh, then that's because of a lack of AGP_Viewpoints so the camera doesn't know where to go.

Im not talking about the AA files im talking about other services/apps that are running in the background that pb cant see.
I know a guy that rages when you mention Securom because they do the same thing. I think this would be a needless waste of resources as well as a privacy infringement. UScript is long dead and I don't know if C++ hacks work on 2.5. If there's someone out there that's making hacks for 2.5 via UScript, we should get them on our team.

As for MAC, most noobs won't know how to change it and it's pretty easy to get. Cross referencing IP, username, e-mail and MAC will fuck a player over pretty well if they hack.

LOL yea, there's plenty of euro servers for them to go to.

Assist reads from a hard-coded directory that's not changeable. I think you might be able to copy your 25Assist folder and just run the .exe's in the server folder to run a server. I could be wrong though. This is something Jonny will have to think about for implementing, changing directories/drive letters.

Greed makes the economy fail. Unfortunately it's more than any one man can deal with, i.e. our president. There's no way we'll get out of our debt. Once you accept that, you have to keep living life and managing yourself and your property the best you can. That's all anybody can do.

Absolutely amazing since I run torrents and netflix at the same time. Not to mention that my connection has a 1.5 mile wireless hop. Pretty cool :)

I know some of the old competition anticheat modules used to check the live executables against a table of known md5's and if you only scan those that are in process your not looking at too many iterations, you could even scan part by part when there are more cycles free to lower the possibility of any lag.

Just a future thought.

Punkbuster already has MD5 checks for most all the AA files and related DirectX dll files. Also, for registering with something unique, how about using the computer's MAC like AA Account History.

Take note, your server does not get tracked by aaotracker if hackhunter is not swicthed on.

Hmm, I'll go turn mine back on then since people like that :)

Ah yep it happens, Nate has fixed that already by removing the truck i think (so it won't be there in the next mAAp release).

Bingo. No longer a problem :)

The TeamView mod has a shake screen while running feature to it. More modern FPS games kind of move the screen around when you run, I was trying to get Crusade to replicate that but we never got finished so it's a tiny vibration instead of a larger slower shake.

I think I fixed the ladder sounds on PBall, I set the ladder collision surface type to wood instead of default.

For Square, I just loaded it and I know what's going on. Prior to the MP6 release, I went through optimizing things. The outlying buildings are now staticmeshes (should render faster). I had Delta (one of the MP6 devs) convert the buildings for me and that one particular surface has 2 textures assigned. It's called z-fighting and I don't think I can fix it aside from re-converting it (although I might be able to convert it to a brush, edit the texture then back to a mesh...)

For Bridge Construction, there's some serious BSP tearing there. I removed the zone thingie and it still lingered around. This will take some more looking into.

Thanks for reporting :) I edited the first post with a bug list.

In another post Jonny said ACI is useless now. I suggested a reporting forum. He mentioned that any player found to be hacking with proof can be banned globally on all Assist servers.

windows 7
go to control panel
search "calibrate"
under display is
calibrate display colour

this will run you through a series of test to help u calibrate ur monitor from brightness through to making text easier for u to read

I dont know if mac or linux has this built in

See, even Skrewy knows and he needlessly has 16GB of RAM.
