Pball is yours. O BTW, if your going to add barrels, the karma collision box around the barrels is an actual box, which isn't good. So export the barrel meshes with utpt or w/e you use. Import it into the the mAAp staticmesh package. Collision Tools menu > Fit karma primitive > cylinder around z. That should make a cylinder collision fit the barrel properly, I hope. Then it should roll around like a real barrel.

Actually, I convert the mesh to a BSP brush then add it, select it and convert it back to a mesh into the mAAp package. I've done it for quite a few objects that I want to edit like the dirty windows on Pipeline. I just updated the Dropbox mesh package with a barrel as per your directions. It can be our test one. I wasn't actually planning on using Karma barrels on PBall but more of the corrugated metal that falls when you shoot it.

I got a missing package as well, but reading thru the notes it seems this particular bloom effect blurs the terrain :\

Well, play with it a bit and see if you can optimize the particles and decolayers so you get more FPS. It's a simple map, you should be getting more FPS than that.

O.O I would think the opposite. I know it's easy to scan for process name and PID in Windows. But, that's good that you locked it to IP, my suggestion isn't needed then :)

That's pretty cool what you did with that Jonny. Shouldn't there be a way though to detect if AA is running and if not, close the slot? I can imagine that a lot of people won't bother to close the slot just out of ignorance.

Stemelex man, disable them IE toolbars if you want to continue using IE. Those are huge resource suckers.

Why is it that you have 3 entries for each port? Keep UDP, delete the rest.

Ok we are looking until the end of this week for the dedicated server to be finished.
Then I want a week off.
Then I will look at building a beta release.

Somewhere around the first week of February then? I think that's a pretty good target. I'm not really in a rush, there's still a lot of things I would personally like to do.

I came across a really cool mod for UT2004 that's pretty simple too. Basically, it adds bloom effects to the game. See the differences:





I haven't gotten this to compile for AA yet, it complains about a missing package yet doesn't reference that missing package in the code so I can't change it. Blue, maybe you could look at it?
