Here's the default T_UI2 file. Browse to the Assist file location and extract it to Textures. Be sure to try to launch AA Menu (not mAAp mode).

If you have an issue with the v7 public beta, please review the list in this thread and if your issue is not listed, please post the issue with a video/screenshot (if applicable) in a reply for this thread. Your issue will be added to the main post with your name next to it.


Pipeline - Hallway steam emitters aren't the same around the map (replace old ones).
Pipeline - Roof windows use the old mesh which disappears when shot.
Pipeline - Catwalk grate textures can only see one way, players below can't see players above.
Breakout - CommVolumes overlap certain areas
Berg - Team leader playerstart doesn't work - Needs to be tested
Interdiction - Floor in loading area has no material set
Interdiction - Some doors are one-way movers
Interdiction - Uniforms hopefully, better test this online
Interdiction - Objectives shouldn't really be bTakeTurns if it's questioning an informant objectives are now inanimated
Interdiction - Door frame around unlockable door needs to block coronas // funny thing i checked and they block coronas.
Interdiction - Medical rooms have weird wall textures
Square - Needs moar spawns
Square - Top of tower where you can fall into the broken corner. There is no way for the player to get out except falling to his death. Both crawling and crouching do not allow the player to move back into the tower.


Slots - Join a server, don't select a team. It will say "Unable to find a starting spot for you (the server may be full). You will need to watch this round." Seen on Shipment and possibly other maps.

mAAp Project / Karma (Physics) Test Map

We need to figure out a map to test this mod on in multiplayer with significant ping. I personally don't want to go to the effort of adding it to every map just to find out people hate it or it performs badly. I want to duplicate an existing map and swap out objects for Karma objects.

There will be a new release of mAAp with a lot of updates for all the maps. Jonny will also release a new version of Assist as well. Just keep on the look out :)

Oh come on, you rebuilt authorization! Surely you can spoof a little text string :P

I'm looking for it in the files, I was thinking perhaps of just being able to hex edit the string and call it done but I can't find "Unauthorized" :(

For the record, Jonny came up with the 50mb limit. I've always tried to reduce file size of mAAp but with it's growth, it's become difficult. He mentioned these maps to me in a PM along with Square and I decided to keep Square and put up a poll for these maps as they're rarely played and they kinda suck.

As for what Killaman said, we already have good variety. The goal with mAAp isn't quantity, it's quality. Having less maps for users to focus on and help us improve upon is a good thing. Monkey Island does need a lot of help but I still think it has potential. Heck, we could even try a jungle compound with thick vegetation and whatnot. It doesn't have to be a big boring open map. The point is that there's a sky and terrain, those are the big details, the small ones can be worked out in future releases but ONLY IF WE HAVE USER INPUT.

I think it's bad to limit it to just 10. We're converting and improving all the time. I think once the maps in the poll are removed, all that will be left are the popular playable maps. It would also be difficult to setup a poll for people to select their favorite maps.

I'm sure the radar would be allowed via server settings, so if u dont like radar u can just skip the servers that have it allowed, for its final release anyway.

That's how it is now with TeamView. You can enable/disable in Assist's server settings. Either everybody in the server has it or nobody does.

It is an option in the Tournament Admin Panel in-game. I saw it. It's just that your server probably has to be in Tournament mode for it to work as it's default value is True. I'll have to pester Blueblaster to check it out in the source and see if we can force it in regular mode.

I am more about eliminating things in steps and an overnight run of Prime95 is part of that. I think it's crucial for any computer that sees regular usage.

I will agree with you and say temperatures should be one of the first things done as it's the easiest :)
