woke up this morning, seen update for assist, was excited.... waited forever for download, and now  i cant  play any server without some kind of 'mismatch error' on the main screen  :-\

Servers have to be updated. I'm updating mine now.

The 2.8 editor is open and available to anybody, as are the tutorials. I would say make it public. It's not like it's the 2.5 editor.

It's just for us privileged people :P It's for the new version of Assist and mAAp v7. Just wait another 24 hours or so.

In that scenario, you could hop on their TS or you could challenge them in the league. Using Assist as a chat program means it's one more program people have to have open aside from Ventrillo, TeamSpeak, AIM, MSN, YIM, X-Fire, Steam, etc...

to get a match going on the fly was very easy... not running around forums and other clan sites to do it...

Joining a server with people in it would do the same thing.

I think there should be a news item in Assist that pulls news from a forum post on here. There should also be a forum button where people can click on it and they're sent here. That would eliminate up-keep on a chat inside Assist.

I looked and it seems like the code would need to have a rewrite because it just takes all damage and puts it into a message. You can, though, set death messages only so injuries and damage isn't listed, only kills. Maybe if you ask nice, Jonny will put an option into the Assist server settings.

Actually I've come to the conclusion that 19 maps for the next mAAp pack release isn't enough. Through complicated mathematics I've decided to release 39 maps. I'm removing 9 of the original maps, so if you add this up there will be 29 NEW MAPS for all players to play. They will feature the best in gameplay and teamwork. There will be maps with multiple transport objectives, random spawn points, and some special destructible objective maps for SF teams. It is amazing that we can do something like this within 2 days time.

Not sure if troll or just really motivated -_-
