Fuck me, someone else on here actually knows about IPS monitors! Truth be told Koden, I don't think sub $800 IPS panels aren't that great, there's comprimises in quality from the true IPS panels and some aren't much better than the regular TN panels. This is just want I've gathered from reading about those e-IPS. I had my eyes on the U2011H or whatever it was from Dell but being twice the price of a regular LED TN panel and only marginally better, I decided it wasn't worth it.

I'm not sure what stop's us from taking the V2.6 file and using it assuming it works for win/mac/linux.

I did try this at the server level but server won't start.

You just explained "what stop's us". Can't copy files from other versions, the bytecode changes in other builds. It takes someone knowledgeable in UScript and AA source code to do this (if it's even possible...). There's nothing stopping you from learning UScript yourself, there's plenty of information available on various hacking forums as well as the UnrealWiki.

Nah, I'm not going to bother with it anymore. UScript is one of those odd things that doesn't usually supply errors or ways to improve code. I find working with PHP a lot easier. I will ask VendorX about it, I'll just show him this thread so he can laugh at my attempts :D

I never claimed I was a UScript coder :) I had to add the var so it would compile, otherwise UMake would bitch at me. I tried many things, that's just the last version of the script and one of the versions that compiled.

I just flashed myself outside (on bridge) and it lasted for 20 seconds and that counts half a second extra in the beginning and the fade-in time so the actual time is around 15 seconds. That's not much in a combat situation when you throw a flashbang in a room to disable hostile forces.

How about this topic ender:
Code a modification (or find someone to do it) to prove it's possible then start a vote here and get a majority yes (not 60/40) and we'll gladly implement it. Until then, nothing's going to happen.

Hmmm, well, you ran Memtest and other stress tests and everything is fine?
You updated GPU, DirectX and Sound...

I'm kinda out of ideas. Maybe try deleting your ArmyOps.ini (a new one will be created, don't edit your settings) and try playing like that.
