The Lounge / Re: Anyone interested in PS3 controllers or hard drives?

Might be down for some controllers. If he's got PS3 and Black Ops tell him I'll kick his ass in that as revenge for talking all my moneys in poker.

@Jared: Exactly, I thought the same thing. But there's one particular scene that just hits me so hard and puts everything else into place. The beginning is pretty boring though.

Not gonna bother to read first three pages:

If The Royal Tenenbaums was mentioned, that movie is powerful as hell and I still cry every time the Elliott Smith song starts.

If not, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS.

I think that Killaman may have reacted hostilely to one of your posts weeks ago and you've been dragging this Mr. Dumbbunny thing on to the point of at least one member losing all interest in the community.

I am narrow-minded as well, I find art quite uninteresting. I don't comment on it because, like Killaman, I don't know anything about the work you put into it or whether it is impressive or not.

My Opinion:

It's black, and white, and sometimes red, and sometimes a greenish-bluish color as well. I like gray and red. Those are my favorite colors. So your art is good. Nicely done using gray and red, it pleases me.

The word "Death" reminds me of the band "Death". That also reminds me that the anniversary of the "Death" of their vocalist, Chuck Schuldiner, is approaching. Nicely done reminding me of Chuck Schuldiner's day, I had totally forgotten it was coming up.

The words "Kill all of them" remind me of Metallica. I don't like Metallica. Now I'm not so sure that the red and gray made it "good".

Overall, I give it a 2/3.

Two of the three things I noticed were positive.

I don't look at anything of yours for fear of being seen as a dumb bunny.

I feel really guilty making my parents pay for college tuition when I'm not sure I'll make it through college but I suppose that's what I have to do. Music makes me happy, and I hope to pursue a career with a record label. If not, I'll just be a nuclear physicist or something cuz I'm pretty good at that. Grats on deciding where you're going though, if UW-Madison rejects me I have no backup plan whatsoever and I don't know what I'm going to do.

@Nate: Hooray.

@Blue: Only some is in FLAC and I have an mp3 version as well to add to my iPod. The mp3 versions are not located under my music directory, however, because it makes me mad when I add the directory to foobar and I have two versions of all the songs and when I try to play an album it plays each song twice and I have to skip the second play unless I really like the song in which case I re-play the FLAC version which makes the mp3 versions completely useless and they irk me and cause me to write ridiculous run-on sentences.

Alright that's not bad. Throw in the cost of a laptop and it's looking like I need to get a job. Although I found some kid who wants to buy my drums and guitar so there's some cash. Drums were upwards of $800 new and the guitar can bring in a hundred or so with my amp. Yay, money. My grandparents also have a shit load of money they like to throw at me for the holidays. I typically hate all holidays (I've mentioned this here before..) but I can put up with the terrible music and retarded concept enough to accept some cash from relatives.

My external has never moved, but oddly enough I've discovered that it causes my daily bluescreen and freezing. When it's not on, no problems. When I have a file currently in use (for example, I lock computer with a song playing), no problems. When it is on and not in use, problems every single time.

Anywho, I didn't think of the risk. I would hate to lose all my music. I have a lot of time to think about this, but I'd really like to be able to use my laptop with music away from home without having to use a smaller HD to store music. The 500GB HD you mentioned seems like a perfect fit for what I want, any idea what price range I can expect?

I'm going to college next year and I'd like a laptop/notebook/netbook/etc. You get the picture. I'd also like for my external to be compatible with it but I have no idea whatsoever if you can add an eSATA port to a netbook. In a perfect world I'd have a little netbook with an internal 1TB HD so I could use it in the car and other places without having to have the external plugged into an outlet.

In the cheapest possible way - keeping in mind I already have a 1TB external that I'd prefer to work with - what do you guys suggest I do? I guess I could settle for a $249 (on Apple's site) iPod classic with 160GB but that doesn't solve my laptop problem and I have more than 160GB of music so I'd have to pick and choose.

Oh and when I was thinking about making this thread I had a ton of stuff I wanted to mention but now I feel like I left out a bunch of stuff and it won't make sense haha

Man on Fire is great. Most Denzel movies are great, though.
