Ban Appeals / Re: ban appeal
« on: Sunday, January 25, 2015, 21:53:09 PM »
Ok so then a rage ban is what it was.
Since as far as i know you guys dont ban players without proof.
please show it and if its real ill quit
i dont need to be flamed
I apologize for Bollie's post, normal members aren't supposed to post in ban appeals. As for my post, I wasn't flaming at all.
I'm waiting for Eliz, the admin that banned you, to post. He banned you, he will explain why. I just thought the way you worded your post was odd for someone who supposedly did nothing wrong. Volunteering to quit the game if there's evidence isn't exactly a typical ban appeal move.
Also, I'm not sure how you can call it a "rage ban" when I doubt you've ever played with the person that issued your ban.

please show some kind of viable evidence and i will gladly quit this game once and for all.
This seems like a rather odd thing for someone who claims they're innocent to say...

Assist Support / Re: can you change my name
« on: Saturday, January 24, 2015, 14:12:30 PM »
We have no control over battletracker so we cannot help you with this. You have to wait the time to change it back or try to contact someone over at battletracker to help you.

AA Support / Re: Help to retrieve account
« on: Thursday, January 22, 2015, 22:00:07 PM »
The log-in name for that account is +iiakU..   You can tell what the BT username is by clicking on "user profile" on their AA stats page and it has the BT username there. but that's about as much as we can do. We don't control battletracker, so anything regarding their site needs to be taken up with them and they're not the most active bunch.

However, if you cannot recover your account you can simply make a new one and we will give you your old honor.

Feedback & Suggestions / Re: Any chance that this classic will come to Steam?
« on: Thursday, January 22, 2015, 15:51:30 PM »
On one hand I think it would be a good idea, and I think we could weasel our way around and make it work.

On the other hand, fuck extra software. EA going and doing their own thing with Origin is miserable. Each game that has layers of additional required software is annoying and prevents people from playing. The more direct experience we can provide, the better. Assist takes care of everything and there's no need for anything else. Personally, I'd like to do away with BattleTracker, it's been a pain from the beginning but we all got dreams.
Steam would skyrocket our playerbase, but it's not possible for us to do. Not only do we not own the rights to do it (no way would Valve let it on Steam), but steam requires you to build part of your game with their stuff (to include the overlay and crap like that) and we can't do that.

The short answer is no. We do not own the rights to the game thus we cannot do anything with it.

First try to log-in with your old account. The username is Garincha  and then just try every password you can think of. If you still can't access the account we can update your new one with the old honor.

Server Support / Re: New playeradmins problem
« on: Sunday, January 18, 2015, 14:26:16 PM »
Not with Assist, it doesn't have to be restarted. That's because Assist checks the file each time a player logs in and sees if that BTID is in the list, it's not built into AA anymore.
Oh. I just know they had to be restarted for our official servers...

Probably a dumb suggestion, but did you restart the server? It needs to be restarted before any playeradmin changes take effect.

Hardware/Software / Re: Post Your Hardware!
« on: Saturday, January 17, 2015, 15:50:04 PM »
You can do better cable management than that. Only 1 screw on the GPU?!?!? 1333MHz RAM OMG HOW SLOW!

This is an old build I did 3 years back when I was more noob with your same case and no modular PSU. Plus it had 1600MHz RAMS :)

That's all nice and fancy, but when your GPU barely fits in your case you can't simply run your cables around it. The cables aren't long enough and/or are too thick to squeeze around or under the gpu. Trust me, I took 2 hours just doing the cables trying to find the best way to do it. I moved everything multiple times. What I need is a case with a cable management system where you runt he cables underneath everything.
Also, my ram is perfectly fine for gaming. There isn't any noticeable different in game performance for me to step up the speed. When I do buy new ram (I'm planning on it soon) I will get faster ram, but for now this is fine.

He's obviously a troll and forcing him to change it would just be feeding him. If he doesn't get any attention he'll stop doing it.

KiLLaMaN : Our conversation is over.
Well then, thanks for proving every single one of my points correct.
Don't post an argument if you're not willing to debate.

You're missing a point ...
Please enlighten me to what I'm missing. If you want an argument, you actually have to argue your point. You're giving me nothing to work with here. You've just been posting stuff with no explanation.

Read something about Politics and Social Behavior.
How is this even a proper response? That's such a cop-out. Why not explain what you're talking about? Or do you genuinely not know and are just repeating stuff other people say?

Not this kind of fun.
Why not? Yet another sentence without any explanation to back it up. Why even bother posting your crap if you're not going to defend it?
