and this i would like to have (dont forget, its x-mas time today ;) :
- side swap in the middle of a match (12 rounds - side swap after 6 rounds)
- spam protection: variable for time of the ban duration as well as the count (5 so far) to get a kick
- try to fix the critical while changing a map (happend from time to time, dont know why)
- if you could bring in a "revive" for dead people - only once each match, not more
- and not needed, but maybe you can have a look at: speed up the parameters like tickrate, lanspeed... and those other parameters. they are old and aa4 did change them to its today needs

ELiZ, the part with the auth server - i mean the instability - should be also on focus. in the near past, it happend often that players have been kicked out with the message "...slot closed". all together within 5 seconds. a full server was empty after this.

i will help you ganja, we dont give up yet.
i did sent a mail to your provider. lets see what they do say. and i have some other ideas, but lets see what happend now. maybe call them also and tell them that
- you did play a game for many years
- now, without changing anything on your side, you can not play anymore
- tell them that the game is using outgoing ports UDP 1716 and 1717
ask them to open those ports again.

i can confirm now, ganja and nightguard with the same problem do have the same provider
its belgacom skynet

from nightguard:
netname:     BE-BELGACOM-ADSL1
descr:          ADSL-GO-PLUS
descr:          Belgacom ISP SA/NV

from ganja:
netname:     BE-SKYNET-ADSL1
descr:          ADSL-GO-PLUS

then its really almost sure that the proplem is at the provider.

btw: netsh winsock reset is a good command to delete a list of old connections. try this again, but you have to do this with local admin rights, like

open a dos box by right click of your mouse - run as Administrator
at the dos prompt, type: netsh winsock reset

then try again with aa2. what happend?

just for my information: the ssd disk you did attach by usb? or did you change the operation system disk which is buld in your comp?

Merlin, like Ronski said, I can't play on any computer of the house, so is it possible that my SSD provoked something for the entire house ? Should I do windows re-install anyway?

no,then do not reinstall it.
do all computer in your house use wifi and the same router?

every comp has its own network adapter. every operationg system is related to the hardware you did install the os with. now you did change the disk with its hw relation from your comp to you sisters comp. guest what could happen? making a mix for your comp and her comp.
this could be the reason you cant start it now.

if you dont have other things except aa2 on your comp (how knows :)), try to reinstall windows and aa2 from scratch. should work then.

you dont have dhcp enabled, this is good in this case.
you did say you changed your ssd. was the operating system on it?
i guess yes, how did you changed the programs and operating system to the new drive. by restoring a backup or with a tool to copy all data to the new disk?

i do really think now that your windows firewall is blocking the 1717 ports. have a look to it. or do you use another firewall/antivirus software on your comp?

if you dont find it, i will be there tomorrow evening i you wish.
