If pit can be in charge of the server box that would be pretty good. The game could go on for a long time. I don't tell people much about what's going on with me but I'm about to go to university of illinois for computer engineering in august. I've gotta relocate and bla bla bla, so I'll be busy for 2 years or so with that.

But I can still run stuff if it needs to be run. If pit can do the server box that would be awesome for everyone. Spanky, me, jared, and killa (and sergio) can run the other operations together. Skrewy can still continue to be the mustard and mayo.

Since this is quite a significant event, I think it would be good to see what we can each contribute to the project to keep it going.

Could be the codec used in vegas or in vlc. Vegas sometimes is really retarded. The best workflow I get is from using xvid. If you don't have it you can download it here http://www.koepi.info/xvid.html

Now when you open vegas and choose File>Render you can pick the xvid codec. I've never had xvid fail in vegas and the file size and quality is good. The hardest part is learning how to tweak the settings because they are not very straight forward.

I keep saying this, but when I hop on my desktop computer that has vegas I'll screenshot the settings I use for xvid.

Did you figure out the transparent text thing? I've been busy and kinda forgot about the thread.

Hardware/Software / Re: Frequency Range Chart (with instruments & definitions)

I've played an 88 key piano before so about 30hz to 5k. You can tune it a little higher or lower. The strings for the low keys are very long.

I found this cool chart, it should be useful in speaker design crossovers.

Smart phone pricing is tricky. I have mine for 50 a month for 700minutes and 4gigs data and unlimited text and I got the phone for 100, the phone people are like car salesmen you can talk with them and work deals. If you own your own business try adding it as a line and so on. Theses monkeys work off of commission so put it to them

Good thing I know more about phones than cars. I can lie to them and they'll believe me.

Pretty sure I didn't touch Square. I think the default point amount is 50 is you win, 20 if your a leader and you win. It's better to make a new file and check the default numbers because I think I'm wrong.

Spanky brought up ASIO which I forgot about. Proper studio sound cards/interfaces have ASIO drivers but only because latency needs to be as low as possible. When I scratch my digital turntable, there needs to be no lag. Studio equipment is made for this. Hi-fi audio interfaces don't need that stuff or ASIO drivers, they just need to transfer bit-perfect at high resolutions.

If it's a laptop it doesn't matter what you use as long as it sounds better than the onboard. My behringer sounds better than the onboard, the difference is really noticeable.

Yes. They're like the mafia though, nice people until you start making fun of one of them.

Tis cool, I still believe in the Nokia. All I need is text and a quick UI.

Nobody needs tons of bandwidth when all you need is to feed line level signals to an amplifier. All you need with something like that is low latency. Install and forget.

If your the kind of person who likes to make their phone their own, or frequently customizes their computer and stuff like that then Android is for you.

Iphone is for you if you're a person who likes to know they have a phone and all the capabilities. Kinda similar to the install and forget idea.
