I had this exact issue on a different game, in my case I believe the card was malfunctioning, as the issue started to happen really often after a while, along with bsods. She was a venerable Ati 5850. :'(

There is no best player for me. There's a group of 'great players' and all of them have their better and worse maps, besides that group there are also some map exclusive specialists.
+1
The context also matters...I think some prefer to play on their own rather than working with or for the team.

I had seen some Good opinions on steam about squad, payed for it 37 euro's but after playing the frist match I was a little disappointed about this game.

Someone played Insurgency?  I have also read some Good opinions about this game how is that game?
It was born as an half life 2 mod, I think the mod is still around if you wanna give it a try, in a rough way you could say it feels in between Counter Strike and America's Army. Its not an heavy game, resource wise.

Yea, I was in the PG beta.
Problem with Proving Grounds to me is simple. Instead of staying with the AA2 gameplay (even AA3 gameplay), the devs are trying to emulate CoD, GRP and other BF......I am also not talking about content, but about gameplay.....
Its true. And for that matter, it still is an interesting game but not necessarily a game that follows AA2 tradition. But do you remember the map rotation in the early days? The lack of any propaganda video and army trivia stuff?

Why not? Performance issues?
The funny thing is that since Squad came out, AAPG has even less players......I am hoping the AA devs will see that, finally wake up and redo AA the way it was before AAPG. Heck even AA3 would be better than AAPG......
Augustine, have you played aapg since the beginning in 2013? It was a quite different game, many things were done in a much more proper way despite the game lacking part of the content it has now. And I think many would happily agree to have less content but more polished rather than a few more maps or a few more features that aren't fully tested throughout (map wise it was the case of Intercept, which had plenty of spots where you can nearly get stuck into, or feature wise with the way securing now works...you can basically drag an incapacitated player, just by spamming the key and moving back).

And since you mentioned AA3, Airfield was another bad example of "more content no matter what" especially after they introduced AI, which was terrible.

As I said earlier, I've run it both ways,  exclusively on my nvidia card and just using the integrated graphics.  Compatibility modes make no difference either.
"Exclusively" means from a global setting or from a setting based on the exact executable?

Well you seemed very up set when you warned me with a SB perma ban for misspelling his name in detremetal ways. Although its ok for him tp speak in a foul mouthed rant every time he opens the slurry pit of a mouth. Including the one I reported today. But lets wiat and see if hes allowed to continue.
I told you a slightly different thing, basically I told you to avoid using offending derivatives of someone's name to insult, as you were doing since a few days (not just against him). And of course its not ok for him to speak as he usually does. That's why he gets banned on the shoutbox around 3 or 4 times each week. And before you wonder, I don't have a way to ban people permanently from the shoutbox. The only way would be both a forum and a game account ban, which i cannot put in order on my own. And unfortunately we also banned him several times, but he keeps coming back.

64c WHILE running game for a while or while just in Windows? Because that temperature with most cpu's is too high when you arent playing etc.

Why would you run in compatibility mode?

Edit: does your laptop have intel cpu? Especially with intel I would say 65c is much. With amd the temp often goes more up compared to intel but even with amd cpu, if its not gaming temperature, that 65c is"much" and with many laptops slows down and sometimes even freezes the pc when on heavy load.
The issue with laptops overheating is of course CPU throttling, as the cpu reaches temps limit, the core frequencies get slowed down, that would surely make for a severe application slowdown or a freeze. If the laptop isn't working any better after a proper dust cleanup,  and you also happen to have some graphic artifacts, hardware issues might be there. Typically video ram modules that sometimes tend to fail after a few years (they produce particular video artifacts).

No Koden, it's not that simple. I changed all setting possible in this shit. I set default to run on nvidia.

It still runs AA 2.5 on intel. AAPG on nvidia. So it's prollly related to DX version being used.

System specs? Anyway I also had issues with setting Optimus to actually use global settings I chose (it still basically wouldn't), setting the executable to run on Nvidia instead solved things for me.

Good question. Maybe some1 will finally answer my old question: "How to make fkn AA run on Nvidia, and not on this intel shit?"?

...you just need to use the nvidia panel and set the executable to run on Nvidia.

Does the laptop also has an integrated Intel graphic chip? And if so, is it running the game on that one?
