Miscellaneous / Re: Post Your Car!
« on: Wednesday, April 25, 2012, 23:47:33 PM »
I thought myself, bought my first truck from a junk yard and toke me since I was 11 till I was 15 to restore it, Truck still runnin round town!

Im jealous. I have no knowledge of vehicles and sometimes I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to drive it if I don't understand how it works.

I feel that same way about people and computers a little bit, and computers are easier to use and maintain than vehicles (for me at least).

We have some geniuses in here. This stuff deserves more praise; too many people out there that don't know how to do work.

Isn't there a way we can make a mod that tells Assist the round is over, then Assist will play the sound?

Well, if the original AA-Watcher was a U file, we can decompile it and make it work. Decompiling is easy.

Sounds much better to build it into Assist instead :)

I'm curious actually, was it a U file that did all of this? If it is, then we just need someone to look over the code and make sure it works with Assist, and we can release an update so everyone can have it.

General Chat / Re: AA25 Server UDP query
« on: Monday, April 23, 2012, 16:49:47 PM »
Why not have the assist server query the game servers every minute and store that into a db then we could write an API that the public could use?

Sounds genius. Then you don't need to worry about querying too many times since you can pull a hell lot of info from a db through 1 query.

You're the only person who has this problem. Thousands of other users are fine.

Check your CPU activity while using Assist. Let us know if it does something weird when switching tabs or closing.

Delete Assist and download it again.

So far the first matter of business is to for Pit to get familiar with the auth server and such. Once that has settled down we can start on the other matters of business.

I believe the other matters of business include pushing the Assist name out more and centralizing the website and features.

August is still adamant about advertising Assist and administrating the community. When the dust settles and we get to focusing on the site I'll have August take some more charge with that stuff since he's been helping us out.

Now it's everyone else's turn to post suggestions.

Too many of my dates are ended when she says that.

That's why I've started using that line. Booyakasha.

You're going to need to stress test your cpu to make sure there isn't something wrong with it. Also you're going to need to check the SMART data on your hard drive to make sure it isn't failing. Periodic heavy lag spikes can be attributed mostly to the CPU being retarded or other programs sucking up tons of power in a short amount of time.
