I just figured out that this year at uni is a breeze and I have enough time to play some AA every now and then, so I'd like to play with some other people and I'm wondering who would be brave enough to have a noob like me....
I'm teddy_grizzly_bear and where ever you see me I'm usually on the easier side (on defence on pipeline or on escort on hosp) and even then I'm probably not doing too good.

It's got something to do with a gun you've just picked up. I picked up a gun, dropped my own, took out a nade, started throwing it and even though I didn't hear the gun on my back fire, I saw the bullet holes on the wall and the gun was empty afterwards.

The 18B to 18C thing is kind of built in the game... You can disable snipers in parental control and there you go, m4 instead of spr. I don't really understand how not being able to use a sniper would be better for kids (parents choosing not to give their kids the ability to us sniper), but that's just the way the game is built.
And if you switched the slot to be an M24, you would probably just get an M16 instead of it with the same parental control, maybe even some frag grenades with it, too...

« on: Friday, September 07, 2012, 13:12:52 PM »oh i just played against him this morning... looking at the video, it looks very much like a bug that used to be around... uhm.. at some point, where you automatically shoot when you do the grenade thingy. It often happened unintentionally.That happened in 2.8.5 when you tried to fast-swap to a grenade by starting running for a sec or something like that, then as soon as you tried to though the grenade (fire button), you would also start firing (it would only work on full auto if I remember correctly).
But I'm pretty sure that bug doesn't work on 2.5.

I don't see how one persons ban for a cheat should be lifted while others get a permanent ban for the same thing.

I almost had a 6v6 ace last night but was robbed by my teammate inverse who team killed me with a nade. Sad!
Scrimmages is the best way to play this game and the most fun for sure. Congrats on your fun matches.
There were some amazing scrimmages last night. We played insurgent camp in a nail-biter. We played canyon in a large chaotic battle. We played weapons cache SE in a beat down. And JRTC Farm!? Oh the memories, amazing battles. Finally, as the sun was rising we played a final urban assault scrim. Bart had to fill in because the US players lacking detection had gone to bed. Bart dutifully CARRIED the team along with bry against convix the menace.
