Remember that higher honor players can choose their weapons much faster than lower honor

Yeah, honor has a lot to do with it... I think it might be something like honor multiplied by 3 to 5 added to your score that determines when you get to choose your weapon.

What I meant was AA as in Alcoholics/Addicts Anonymous so that would have nothing to do with America's Army, but the rules say no AA talk, so it could mean either or both.

While standing still...? i'm not aware of how heavy a common assault rifle can be, but i'd rather shoot while crouching at least. You'll also be a smaller target.

Of course, in real life you'd be shooting mostly at prone position (believe me, I've shot a rifle a couple of times), but this is still a game. What I was trying to complain about was the server admins, that back in the day would kick you for just moving while shooting.

And an M-16 rifle for example is about 2.25kg or 7.2lbs, but what I used in my military service was an AK4 (a variant of the G3 rifle), which weighs 4.4kg or 9.7lbs.(both unloaded)

Huh? Shooting while crouching or leaning is a very common thing in real combat. Shooting while crawling doesn't make sence.

An other unrelated thing that I dislike is the fact that the idle soldiers just sit there holding their M249 SAW up ready to fire for 10 minutes. I'd like to see someone do that with a weapon that, when loaded, weighs 10kg or 22lbs ...

Your battletracker already has 86 honor, so log in with that BT username and you should be fine.

hey guys,
recently signed up here in hopes of getting some help getting back to playing some AAO 2.5, anyone have any suggestions to where the best download is, and i have not played in 5 years, what all do i need to get going. Thanks for any help.

If I'm not mistaken, it bans you only on that server automatically?

Because I had the same thing. My internet went down, closed the game, joined the server again through assist and was kicked and banned for 1 day (back in the day it was just 5 minute PB kick for duplicate ID or something).

But points are enough for at least 100, don't know for how much more so will give him 100.

ever 4 million points if you take away the ROE, thats 2x 100 honor , and also I think 100->101->...->110 is 133 000 points each so that would add up to at least 110 honor. But then again, back when he got those points, honors above 100 didn't exist.

It shouldn't be a problem updating your honor as the battletracker link shows your honor as 100. Just hold your mouse over the rank image and it shows the last recorded honor or something.
