ahahaha, the game face almost 7 years, I have macro to 3-4 at most messes you really think macro will affect me? sniper game, only used for burst weapons just to be automatic, I'll be teaching you more soon to play with only one free trial lesson ahaha
IF you really where that good, I would've seen you at some LAN about 5 years ago. But for some reason, nobody knew you back then.

Stop talking as if you're better than you are, I don't like ignorant talk without being able to back it up.

dude you are bad !!!! I no macro or macro kill you anyway, wore macro weapons only three shots, you're weak, I prefer a Brazilian player than any other part of you, players from other countries are horrible ! you speak very little and play!
Come at a LAN and I'll prove you wrong any time :)
I've yet to see brazilian players hitting their first few shots constantly. If they could do that all the time, I would beleive you.

If you are not banned, then you have no bad history that we can find either, so they can shut up anyways

This is about Marreco?
If he wouldn't spam with 7 threads about the same thing, he wouldn't get a temporary forum ban. He could've known when we answered him the first time and he kept making the same threads.

BocaNegra, feel free to post the link where America's Army developers said macros are ok. Until you do, quit using that as an excuse. Is the game really worth keeping alive if it's full of cheaters?

I doubt you can edit the user.ini to shoot more often and even if you could, it will be detected. I also highly doubt you can make yourself more difficult to die in the user.ini. Feel free to prove me wrong with some proof.

A few comments...

1) The original developers were neither for nor against macros.  They were publically silent on the issue.
2) Macros do not equal to cheating, per se, but rather obtaining an unfair advantage, this is against the ethics of the game itself.  Sort like bringing a gun to a knife fight... you can do it and nothing stops you from doing it, but is it really fair?
3) The ini file does indeed have some options that allow an unfair advantage...  This is why CVAR checks were introduced in PB, so I don't get why Boca would even this this is a problem, because it is not.
4) The biggest problem in all games is the real-time injection of object code into the stack.  Properly designed, even the operating system has no idea what it going on.

I could comment on "hackers" versus script kiddies and the like.  In my opinion the latter are a scourge on gaming (as only an idiot would pay for "skilz"), the former I have respect for (as an engineer who has reverse engineered, i.e. hacked, both hardware and software in a former life).  BTW: I use the term "hacker" in the traditional sense, not the new found post-gaming era definition... Hacking used to be an honored tradition, but alas, it is now viewed in a poor light due to the negative connotations with the art...

Bottomline, If someone wanted to get an undetected advantage, it is simplier than anyone realizes.  I won't offer any guidance, but lateral thinking is all that it required (and a soldering gun).  If someone wants to cheat badly enough, nothing will stop them.  But ask yourself, is winning in a PC game so important that you are willing to cheat to get there?  Seems like a substitute for self-esteem... maybe you should see a psychiatrist.

OIC!
Well said.
Real hackers, who don't hack to feel better in a game, but to test vulnerabilities and seeing what's possible, I respect them. And I respect them a lot.
I totally agree with that.

If you buy a mouse with an aimbot included, I would ban as well.

The costs of the mouse does not matter, WE did not choose that you had to buy them, it was your own simple choice and the only reason you bought them was because of this "feature"?

You should look into the mirror, and think about it.

Is there any reason it was ever set to 24 hrs?

If not, set it to 5 minutes

I see even Mia asked for a pb kick, he doesn't do that too fast.
Anyways, if it happens in multiple occasions, please let me do. With this single occasion I am not going to do anything, however if it happens more often let us know.

The mouse macros weren't the biggest problem, the user.ini that players edited to take more shots and be more difficult to die were! That's what you have to fix (user.ini)! That ban was a total disrespect for those that use macros, because AA was never against macros, you can figure out it was permitted, and now you suddenly forbid macro use and ban many of the few remaining players from the AA.
Do you know what you are talking about?
There is NO single way to edit something in the user.ini to die faster, and it's still a horrible excuse.

I still haven't found any valid excuse to use a macro other than to gain an advantage over others by means of a 3d-party program, instead of saying: "but it was always allowed", try to get on to the point.

If you try circumventing your ban, the ban will become permanent, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Did you guys even read the previous posts? We explained why you could've known it was illegal, and why you still get a second chance and how.

I do not see why we need to enter another discussion here, if the only excuse for getting unbanned is that the mouse is expensive.

Holy crap!! That is one of the nastiest heatsinks and fans combos I have ever seen. Chernobyl melt down.
I've actually seen that at a friend of mine. He was complaining that his pc went so slow when he started a game.
I checked his temps, and they were huge.
Turned out the coolers were cooling the dust, instead of the processor:)
