mAAp Project / Re: Maps For Anyone Who Cares
« on: Sunday, October 28, 2012, 15:16:12 PM »
What else is there to do on this forum? I saw Killa's post and had to reply. Not my fault this forum is full of morons. When there's intellectual discussions to be had, I can participate, unless you ban me.

You may joke with the bitter stuff but I'm really not. I just like harassing the stupid & helpless players of AA. Also, how dare you call my coffee old!?!?!

I have the 4 maps I made sitting on my PC so I decided to upload them for anyone who cares. I'm not sure if they will ever be put into assist (by the looks of it, probably not).

Have some faith in Pit. He's only had Assist for 6 months. I'm sure he's working on a huge update.

You know what would be cool? Is if this forum had like a place where you could type in words of topics that you would like to know more about. Almost like.... finding or... searching. A place to search, yea. Fucking shame this site doesn't have such a feature.

I like the part where it says "First Official AAO25.com Competition". It's not like we ever had a league setup with a website directly integrated into AAO25...

the 2.4.1 editor was where usable vehicles were first introduced into AA, as you can see by those 2 YouTube videos I linked. Making maps with usable tanks, Humvee and APC's is completely feasible, any of the current Assist developers can do it if granted, they are willing to put the time into doing so. However I will myself will not help you, for several reasons, obviously life's moved on since I put time into this project last, and other commitments have arisen. The main reason tho is simple, the current devs need to learn to explore the editor on there own, they have to lose their training wheels.

On a last note before I drift off into the shadows of rarely checking this site (pm's included btw) let me just point out, the infomation is out there on the internet, you just need to search it out.

News / AAO25 Changes Complete
« on: Monday, August 13, 2012, 21:36:27 PM »
If you're reading this, that means that Pit now has full control of this website. As promised earlier, I am removing myself from admin and I won't be coming back here.

I would like to say one last thing;
Thanks to all of those great people I've met through AA. You know who you are. We've done a lot of fun stuff over the years. I'd gladly do it again in a heartbeat.

I think you can remove "again" from your post title. It was never fixed in the first place :)

Someone else here had the same issue. No idea what it is. I would say it's an issue with your computer, not AA.

Pick your gun sucks, people would just whore. What would be great is to have random weapons with RPG and G/GP removed, but keep snipers and SF. Then you would see real random macguyver combat.

Awesome! I'm glad you notice a significant difference Nick. Those little devices are cool for portability. Means you can take them with you on a laptop, velcro it to the screen or something.

Anyway, I'm excited to know that someone else is seeing the benefits of affordable upgrades to audio equipment :)

It does take a fair bit of research & trial to find something that YOU enjoy. I've not tried Ultrasone headphones. I wouldn't recommend plugging any pair of headphones into onboard audio or X-Fi because neither provide enough amplification (not volume, that's different).

Exception named a popular gaming headphone which is really good but I hear they lack a bit of bass and aren't as comfortable as some other models. With that said, they're relatively cheap and give great positional audio.
