LOL, wtf is this? It's like in some fucking zombie game. All zombie forum trolls have arisen from death... I find it really hilarious: Spanky comes back to forum after weeks/months and within minutes, skrewy and mans are by his side and shit is all around.
I never told, asked or suggested to Skrewy or Mans to come on here and troll. I did show Skrewy this thread and I guess they got bored and took it into their own hands. I had nothing to do with anything they did although, the image that Skrewy made was quite funny. I will also take this opportunity to say that Skrewy has had access to my account for a couple weeks, he was the one that changed my signature.

Nobody else wants the project so it's all yours Mr big admin. Just kind of interesting that in 6 months you haven't even pushed out a tiny security update that you could write in less than 2 hours that would greatly improve user bans, create less work for admins. But hey, keep on doing whatever floats your boat because you are the captain.

PPL , dont forget that, if you feel capacited and dont wanna help us, instead, make ur own project;
We are maintening Assist, no one can argue about that, if you think that its easy to port a program from a language to another then your are wrong, even with pit knownledgment it takes much time, remember, we are humans, We all do Work, we have families to take care of and bills to pay etc etc etc...

Yet another point I brought up to you yesterday, Jonny made Assist and he has a family, job, bills and I recall he was moving and/or remodeling yet somehow he found the time.

Sergio, something I mentioned to Possessed yesterday is the fact that Jonny, me, Blue, Killa hardly played the game very much yet they/we put the most into Assist. It was a passion because we all enjoyed the game at one point. I just find it really odd that you guys seemingly have that same passion and are all admins yet all you're doing is keeping a dysfunctional ban system going. Part of my frustration with leaving is that I knew things weren't going to be carried on outside of Jonny's supervision/help. I did have hope in Pit but that disappeared and he's shown less and less promise/motivation to do anything with the project. I just wonder, why?

Just to clear the record, I have no desire to come back. It's not the community or the admins, I just feel no desire/motivation to use the editor or play AA.

Are you taking the stance of "fuck what anyone else thinks" or did I upset you with my poor attempts at trolling earlier? Either way, I regret giving you this site. You've done nothing but break things. Another waste of potential. At least you're 2 for 2 on that streak.

If you ever pull your head out of your ass long enough to have a reasonable discussion, I'm sure there's other people that would like to hear an explanation for the lack of updates and no future plans to do anything. Personally, I don't care for an answer, it's just an observation on my part. Go ahead, ignore me and slap a ban on me, it will just show who you really are.

I'm honestly disappointed. I thought (and I know I'm not alone in this) that you showed promise, interest and desire to push forward with Assist. It was my understanding that when Jonny wanted to find someone new for the project, he wanted more than someone to just handle donations and pay the server costs. In fact;

Granted, you weren't Jonny's first choice but being that you showed some experience in looking at the code for multihoming and you showing interest in the project, we all felt that you had the most promise to take it and turn it into something more.

At least, that's what it was before I left the shared Dropbox folder. There's some pretty important updates that have been waiting for over 8 months. But, let's all be honest, nobody cares about mAAp let alone updates for it. How about critical security updates? You know, user bans, anti-cheat scripts, that kind of stuff. I'm quite surprised none of them have been important enough to you to implement.

What's my point? I feel that you, being the project admin, are obligated to push forward otherwise you're not doing your job. Yea, it's not my place to tell you what to do (and I don't really care about what you do) but the people that are thankful for having Assist deserve an admin that can provide updates, not only for content but for security and to make the game more enjoyable.

What was that Jonnys "backup plan"? Going linux-only (he mentioned this to me in one of PMs)?

I must tell you I'm starting to view this anti-cheat effort as personally attractive to me. I have zero experience with strictly game-related code, but I feel comfortable in low-level stuff in general (when I was younger :-D I've coded my own kernel with memory protection, processes, threads and all that, and I knew x86 instruction set by heart, so that I could code in binary :-D).

One of the things I was already planning, is to re-write the Assist in C or C++. That will also help with anti-cheat things as we will have more control over the Assist process than with Realbasic.

I'm currently taking care of some pending issues related to my house, kids, etc. (that's why I haven't done any real work yet, only posting BS on forum ;-D), but as soon I finish most urgent stuff, I hope to finally get some time for real work on Assist.
