He's not the only one. It's a bug with BT. Don't know what causes it, buy I know a couple of people who have got it.

who the fuck ask u for ur dum ass input

maybe ur just too fuckn stupid and can't understand what im sayn
I'm pretty sure he can understand what you're saying, but just because someone plays like someone else (goes to the same positions and so on), doesn't mean they're the same person. It could, of course, make it more likely that it's the same person, but it's still no hard evidence.

And by the way, I'm not saying it is him nor that  it's not, just saying the evidence has to be solid.

Ban Appeals / Re: BANNED
« on: Friday, April 05, 2013, 01:52:03 AM »
How to provide the battletracker id if I didn't know whats the ID of the banned guy? I still play on my PC normally, but on this "new" one I can't because when I installed the game its says BANNED and can't join. :S
And to clarify, he doesn't want the banned account's ID, but YOUR account's BT ID.

Bug Reports / Re: Unable to login

Plus, once logged in through Assist, you don't need to/can't log in through the game itself.

Server Support / Re: how to disable some maps on server?
« on: Thursday, April 04, 2013, 02:48:54 AM »
The problem is, Spanky, that Assist now checks if all the maps are correct (and if they're there at all I guess) at start. So the only way I could see this working is if you start Assist first and then delete the maps in question.

News / Re: AAO25.com - Official Europe TS Server

Wrong section for such posts, Mazda.

If you have a suspicion about someone's gameplay, post it in http://aao25.com/cheater-submission/ or just message BiG_SerGiO.

Hardware/Software / Re: AA2.5 Ingame Sound
« on: Tuesday, April 02, 2013, 15:26:37 PM »
Back in 2008 maybe you played on a desktop computer with a dedicated soundcard?

Or are you just complaining the the sound is overall to quiet?

And I know there's been talk about the sound being messed up win Windows Vista/7 (and onwards?), but I can't remember what to do to fix it. I'm sure there are threads on these forums explaining it, just search for it.

General Chat / Re: Auth for the game will be down in 1 month

The moment I looked at the forum topic, I was thinking "Nice try!", but I figured most will understand it's a joke anyway so I didn't post anything :)

General Chat / Re: AA 25 Assist - Question about logging in
« on: Tuesday, April 02, 2013, 09:27:18 AM »
It seems you're trying to log in through the game itself in addition to logging in through Assist. In the "good old days" you could see information about your player there.

Since the US Army dropped official support for the game and the game hasn't been rewritten, the login contained within the game is still searching for the now gone official auth server (and wont find it obviously).

So in short, you can't log in through the game itself and you only need to use the Assist program.

i forgot the command u can add a bind while in game any 1 remember that command??
Isn't it just "bind <key here> command"? or "bind C Crouch" as an example. I'll have to check to be sure though.

I checked it at http://manual.americasarmy.com/index.php/What_console_commands_can_I_use_in_America's_Army%3F#7._Binding_Keys, and yes, in game it's
Quote
===ii. Binding Keys In-Game===
Hit ~ to bring down console.
           bind <key> <command></command></key>

Copying your old keybingings from 2.8.5 shouldn't mess anything up as long as you don't have illegal binds. I'm pretty sure if a feature doesn't exist, the bind just wont do anything.

Can't help you with the sound though.

General Chat / Re: Assist crashing my Hard Drive -- (Win 7-64)
« on: Friday, March 29, 2013, 20:12:10 PM »
The thing that takes the most time when assist is "Checking AA" is -to my knowledge- checking if all your maps are up to date compared to the official release. I guess it also check other aspects of the game as well though.
