Another update not needed? there is plenty that needs improvement. The main 3 glitches - 31 203s, lean glitch, zoom glitch should be on the top of the list. Extremely common.
Unless something has changed during the summer, I believe the Assist team doesn't have access to the original code of the game, therefore there's only so much they can do to stop people using bugs and not a whole lot they can do about removing them from the game itself.

I might be wrong though.

Oh, so you're saying you don't have an account on dropbox? Or does dropbox require an account in order to download?

In my experience most people have a dropbox account anyway. And I'm pretty sure dropbox doesn't require an  account to download files (in fact I just tried it).

Langy, you have to download things from dropbox as well. It's just a whole lot easier since you don't have to register on an extra site.
The file's less than 8mb, dropbox can handle that without any problems.

As for taking a look at it, it's not really worth having a look if I don't plan on setting up a Linux server, don't you think? It could be, of course, useful to read it and/or comment on it if I had previously started a Linux server and had any input to give, but I'm guessing most people don't.

Yeah I hate that when someone's on assault and he's waiting on top of CP for 3 minutes and never even goes for the objective... even he does eventually, it's still a waste of time. If he doesn't wanna do objective, he should at least wander around (then he'll be more likely to see enemy or get killed anyway).

Well, I didn't wanna upset you, but in my (humble) opinion, as we already have a modified Pipeline version (mAAp Pipeline), plus the 2 Pipeline maps (SF "separate"), we really don't need an other version of Pipeline.

But it's just my opinion, how would I know? Maybe it's great!

I don't know how a person can get more points just by having a different weapon?

I mean sure, you can have kills a little faster in rounds at certain places, but IMHO that's not such a big difference.

Anyway, I was just stating my opinion or what I've observed. It's not the absolute truth.

Ryan, if you look at the other thread he posted in, you'll see he's looking for a clan, so therefore he can't really rely on competitive play right now.

With that said, I've seen quite a few people on 82nd pipe servers that only move in when they're the last person and then, too, they only move just so much that nobody can say they were outside...

Are you asking for clans that are playing competition or asking if there's competition at all?

I don't know for the NA part, but there's still some competition side left on the EU side.

As for clans, I'd say you're better off just seeing a clan while playing and if they're good just apply to join them.

I'd say the line right now is between score advantages or something like that. As I've seen quite a few servers with high jump and such things that are tracked, but never seen a server a server that gives more points for either doing objective or killing an enemy as tracked (for too long a time that is).

Hi Guys! I've just installed AA on a fresh ubunu os. But I can't bring it up to start. After clicking a server, a can see for a short moment the AA Logo. Thats it. Any idea?

The problem with pball legitimately is Windows vs Linux. Pball uses directX for the physics, which is owned by Microsoft and doesn't run on Linux. I say this as a Linux stan that hasn't used Windows regularly in years. :P

Basically, the problem is not Windows or Linux as you say; the problem only comes from F12 when the admins choose the PBall card that is bugging.

Exactly, my friend, it's with Linux that it crashes. I tested with my 12 Linux servers by pressing F12 for the PBall map and all my servers crash. That's why Nick built me a PBall server to avoid having to go through F12.

I am On Linux and It does not crash when shooting the crates :). But the reason Its not crashing I think its because how I run the game through a compatability mode for windows programs. So technically Its "running through windows" :) As you say, It probably is going to crash on the Native Linux Version of the Game

falken64, it's the opposite, it doesn't crash with Windows. I am the owner of the PBall server. It only crashes when we go through F12, it always crashes when we shoot the crates. :)

It might be a windows system that wouldnẗ crash it. I am currently on Linux but to run this game I am using Steam and Adding the game as a Non-Steam Game and switching from the default compatibility setting to Proton 9.0-x and it works flawlessly. It doesn't crash when playing on the Pball map because technically I Would be playing this on Windows even tho Im on Linux. Maybe if it would crash when playing this on the Native Linux version that doesn't work on newer Linux distro's? Or does this only relate to the servers crashing?

Gunny PBall does not work on Linux only on windows, Nick created my PBall server with windows a long time ago.
