This doesn't seem like a good way to get responsible admins.

60 hertz screen can give you max 30 FPS.
lol, no. 60hz means it shows a max of 60 fps. Have you ever wondered what v-sync does? It locks your framerate to your monitor's refresh rate, hence for most people it's at 60 fps. Spanky beat me to it though.

Hello,

The extra percentages don't really matter.

As long as you get a good 30FPS at your monitors best resolution who cares as the rest is not visible.

And yes I have had a super high end machine and now have the lowest of the low, game play is way more important than graphics, and I still get 30FPS.

Steve

For PC gaming it's all about 60 fps. I don't like anything under 60. It looks choppy to me.

I'd like to have a nice nvidia powerhouse GPU but my budget won't allow it either. Plus, I don't like the idea of supporting them, they're really shitty with the way they do things. AMD takes the more opensource style of approach with new features and doesn't try to over-advertise and bash the competition.
Yeah, but there's a certain point where buying AMD just doesn't make sense anymore. For one, nvidia has a better product. The GTX 970 has roughly the safe performance (usually better) than the AMD 290x with a lot less power consumption and a lot less heat.
I'd also like to point out that it takes AMD a while to get their cards running well for big new games. I don't blame this on AMD though, as most of these new games are working with Nvidia the whole time and AMD is probably an afterthought for the developers. It just sucks to see how much developers are favoring Nvidia right now.

That's a good PC build though. Spanky will probably kill be for saying this but I honestly would have gone without the SSD and got a better GPU.

Ban Appeals / Re: Banned

I found it. This account:
http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/742334/

It got caught using an old detected hack.
User.ini AutoLoad=(MenuClassName="Live_Jump.crussiesspersonalaaInteraction",bPreInitialize=True)

Wasn't a personal ban, just facts. It was a year and a half ago, I don't think you'll be unbanned.
An argument and shadowbot are the same thing, right?

Nobody changed it, that's the post count specific title everyone has. "Posts like a Spanky" is 10000+ posts. I don't know if that's old or someone just added it, but technically nobody changed anything. :P

Wtf a 300 killa?? At least you should of gotten a gsxr 600  or 750  ))))))

Still be safe on your bike a lot of nuts out there on the road

lolz. buying a gixxer as your first bike typically ends up with you on the pavement and a hole in your wallet for repairs and medical bills. :P
The 300 is a great bike to start on and resells for almost as much as you buy it for. In a year or 2 I'll sell it and get something bigger.

More like Kawasucki amirite?
U jelly bro?

nope u need 2 plates in us but i refuse to ruin the look of the car with a stupid front plate
I realize this post was a while ago but I just wanted to correct you. It depends on what state you are in. Here in Michigan you only have 1 license plate on the back. You don't get one for the front.
https://www.cars.com/articles/2013/10/how-many-states-require-front-license-plates/

Knowing you posted this when you still lived in Illinois you should be happy to see that Florida doesn't require a front license plate either. :P

On topic though, I recently purchased a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 as my first bike.

Aside from being a blast to ride, the thing is awesome on gas too, getting almost 70mpg. It will save me a lot of gas money going to school and work. The insurance is also surprisingly cheap, I'm only paying about $45/month, which is less than half of what I pay for my car.
I just wish I lived further south so I could ride it for a larger portion of the year. My car is a 2001 Ford Taurus if I never posted it before.

Aside from Mout and Dockside, all of those maps are way too small to go over what they already have. 26 players on CT, Swamp and HQ Raid would be ridiculously stupid.
I started expanding the slots of a bunch of maps a while ago but never got around to finishing it. Maybe after my summer classes are done I'll get bored enough to fix them up.

General Chat / Re: Windows 10 with AA

Why is this doing something right? They're just correcting their mistakes as always.
Please elaborate how offering a free upgrade to Windows 10 is "correcting their mistake."
You might have a point if the free upgrade was only offered to Windows 8 users and you'd be implying Windows 8 was a mistake, but Windows 7 is a fantastic operating system, probably the best we've seen yet. I don't see how offering a free upgrade from 7 to 10 is "correcting their mistakes."

Traitor.
Could be worse. He could be buying a mac. :P

Ban Appeals / Re: Ban appeal
« on: Sunday, June 14, 2015, 14:12:14 PM »
You were definitely using fire rate macros. We registered you shooting 13 shots up to 32.66 shots/second. Well above what is humanly possible. As a matter of fact, all of your macro detentions are nowhere near the fence, you were clearly using one. Denying it isn't going to help you at all.

You will no longer be able to use this account to play AA, but you can make a new one and keep playing. Just post a link to your new account here and we'll activate it for you.
I will also warn you that a repeat offense will result in a permanent ban.

Feedback & Suggestions / Re: Killcams
« on: Thursday, June 04, 2015, 18:28:52 PM »
I've not played many other FPS's (if any at all), so I suppose you might be right.

But in order to "recognize a cheater" it would definitely need to be playback.
A killcam would be terrible for recognizing cheaters. Have you ever actually used the Call of Duty one? It's terrible and half the time it looks fishy. Not only do you have to account for both players' ping which could make the kill look off, but no game is perfect in its mechanics either. Weird shit happens in some games, especially in AA. I've had nades that landed 2 feet from me and I didn't get hit because of some random tiny object blocking it that might not be shown on a killcam. I've had a 203 blow up on a wall next to me and not kill me, while I've also had a 203 blow up in another room and kill me. In AA you shoot from the top of your head so people will see the other player crouched almost entirely behind a wall and still kill them and think he's hacking.
That's just AA though and all that a killcam would do is give us a bunch of people who aren't familiar with how the game works coming here complaining about "cheaters" that aren't even cheating.

« on: Thursday, June 04, 2015, 13:50:14 PM »
I would imagine it might not be too difficult to see what's happening after they killed you, but the point of a killcam is to see what happened when they killed you. That would mean that the game would have to be constantly recording (demorec or something?) and unless it's doing this right now, I don't think it would be easy to implement.
Demorec itself is quite buggy as it is, let alone looking at the last few seconds of it in a quick manner...
Not necessarily. Battlefield's killcam shows the player after they killed you. Basically so you know where you got shot from.
Regardless, I'm completely against the idea of killcams. I hated it when BF started using them and I don't want it to be a part of AA.
