Finally TS3 is released. I have not gotten to try it since I don't currently know any servers for it, but I'll get back to you guys when I do.

They have a temporary page since there was so much traffic on the main site.  :D

The ps3 beta is pretty fun, and I think it will be much better on PC because most games are. Aside from the occasional bad port.

Lets hope they use PhysX... Otherwise I'm sure it will be one of those games where the recommended requirements are a quad core cpu :( Anyway, I'm totally looking forward to it.

Sadly, it actually is. It has pretty high required specs. it kind of sucks but I'll still be able to run it.

Sorry that I forgot to the post the specs on there. Added required and recommended specs to original post.

Although it is not Battlefield 3, which everyone wants. :'(    This game looks superb in its own way.

These pics were all high resolution, I re-sized them for the sake of the post.
Bad company 2 supports DX11 and while a PS3 beta is already out, a PC beta will be coming early next year.

Hardware/Software / Re: First Graphics Cards of the DirectX 11 era.
« on: Saturday, December 19, 2009, 11:01:07 AM »
I hate when they have race wars on who can release the latest and greatest features first. That ultimately leads to bad craftsmanship.

That is true. Same happened with the Xbox 360. They rushed the release and half of the systems were faulty. But I have heard nothing but good reviews for these cards. But when Nvidia comes out with it 300 series, they will probably be very expensive. I hope they make a cheaper DX11 card (in the $200 range) because I prefer Nvidia cards over ATI.  ATI has an advantage because they are making DX11 cards that people can afford.

It was a small community but very much different from 2.5. It could be small and you could play with people you knew but there was always random people on so games were more random and unique. When I enjoyed 2.3, the community was smaller than when I first opened 2.5 and it was much more fun on 2.3, that should say something. Maybe someone else can shed some light onto some better reasons.

oh, you meant that it was more fun. I was thinking that you meant that somehow the gameplay and what not was better.
