he wouldn't have spent his time trying to circumvent his ban

What is sad is that he got a ban in the first place for going after hackers with an aimbot,
while real hackers with aimbot lasted in this game much longer than him, just because a
bunch of hypocrits took their defense. That is pathetic.

a guy who chased players who he thought they were cheating

At the time where he did what he did, private undetected hacks were on the rise,
so he made his moves knowing he could make some collateral damage.
He was sometimes right and he may sometimes have been wrong, that's true.
But at least he did something, in times where many players (also pretty good ones)
complained more and more about different weird players who used those private hacks,
(fucking Ginger) and scoffing at admins by saying "no proof, no guilt, fuck you".
I think things should be put into perspective before lynching someone.

If Pit had been in charge in the few last months and had banned the cxn guys without
proof, everybody would have complained. Thanks to Sergio and his knew ability to
detect private hacks, we now know they are scrubs. Pit didn't have that detection
possibilities at the time.

I have many very concrete ideas that i will expose from mid of September on,
will start to work on mAAp as well. Currently it is impossible for me to do so
as my parents are moving from France to Germany over the summer for ever,
after 20 years spent in Frogland (already too much).
I am currently finishing the construction of their House, been at it almost since
Assist came out.

How does that prove anything? You do realize that all of the maps that were in version 1 are also in 2.5, right? Plus, why does Homey's opinion even matter? He's abandoned AA players for quite some time now. Support on Battletracker is almost no-existent. He doesn't even play the game.... His BT says he was last on in 2007. He has never played mAAp or the game in its current state.

true, but his "back to the roots" philosophy is the true way imo.
All entities in this world who fail sometime always make the same move :
recenter their activities on their core knowledge, what had made them
successful in the very first place.
Homey may never have tried the current version (strange to me that he
didn't even mention us) and gives a shit about us, but returning to that
"slow... tactical" atmosphere of the first AA is definitely the way to go.

this could add sooooo many new f*cking funny situations to this game and
would give the guys without ammo the possibility to survive, means knockin out
a guy almost out of ammo, taking his gun and go forward  :D :D

I think this would attract a lot of new players also.

If we merged it with AP during Beta testing, every small update to the SAI would trigger an AP update on all servers and clients. Not really an ideal situation. A merger should then be made after the SAI has been fully tested.

Good Point...

Moreover, would reducing the code of the SAI by 1/3 mean that some of it's functions
wouldn't be available anymore o.O ?

yeah we tried new maps but they were silly maps
No wonder nobody wants to play them. Why do you think that Hospital Bridge
or Pipe are Legendary maps ? because there is a story behind them & because
they are strategically meaningful and challenging.

We have to bring back those characteristics by enabling each map to support
different objectives and missions.

"I think we have go back to the roots. Army 1.x with new engine and features. It should be different than the other modern COD/BF Shooters. Slow and tactical ... nice tactical maps" ([GA]_Homey, Thu Aug 08, 2013 4:41 pm)

See Killa, i was not that wrong  ;)

+1 krIz, blue+ and motivated are nice and clean guys, so no need to suspect
a whole country. But i have to disagree when it comes to disabling the tracker,
because cheaters just enjoy killing a lot and i don't think they really care if it's tracked or not,
as they always have a good FR no matter what, until they are eventually banned.

Moreover, if tracker is disabled and you meet a hacker some day with a long complicated
name, you will not be able to look for him somewhere and look if the stats are suspicious
or not. Aimbots often have namechangers, so if there was no tracker, it would be almost
impossible to track the guys down easily.

And last slayer pls take down that ridiculous zyzz pic, as he and his nub brother were
already caught 3x for smuggling anabolic steroids which they probably also (mis)used themselves,
This eventually led to his own tragic death at 22, a very common age for getting a heart attack i suppose...
(it wasn't an inborn heart defect).
