How it should work is by typing 'demoplay <filename>' in console while in game. It used to work OK, but the last time I tried I couldn't get it to work at all.

The problem might have (and I'm speculating here) something to do with the server side mods (such as the SAI). You might try to see if there's a difference between when you try to do it after joining a game through Assist and when you just launch armyops.exe on its own and try then.
This might not be the issue and might not help, just a wild speculation.

The account you mentioned seemed to work OK on wednesday:
http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/812216/

Plus this one seems to work as well:
http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/821111/

And if your 'friend' had trouble activating his account, he should have come here and posted about it. Or you could have done it for him.
We do sometimes make mistakes with these things, so it's entirely possible that his account being rejected was a mistake.

Not really.
The only thing you can definitively say is that it seems odd to you. Unless you can see a program running on their computer doing this shit, you can't really prove it.

I'm not saying those macros are OK, because they're not, but I'm pretty sure that the % of people using them is not 40. Just join a regular pub server and you'll see so many players who don't really know what they're doing and even if they're using these macros, it isn't giving them any visible advantages because it still takes a second for them to start firing after they see an enemy.

That's not how it works. It's one account per person. Why not just use your one account on both PCs?
I'd hate to disagree with you here, but I do.

To my knowledge, it's always been one account per computer, simply because there is no way for us to verify how many people are involved.

The reason I rejected his account was that he had been using the computer he requested the activation from time and time again for his main account.

To be honest, I usually approve such accounts if people are here saying they need it for their son or w/e and they have only one account for two computers (which can be seen from the logs obviously). But I just don't see the point here. It's just my opinion and is why I didn't want to reply anymore.

You're right. I thought I saw the other account there more than once as well, but it's there only once.

It looks as if he does to me.
Or is there something I'm missing with the simultaneous IP and UUID match?

From what I can see, since the last time this guy logged in (plus numerous times before), these 2 have logged in on the same UUID and IP:

I don't think it's possible to bring back Javelin training or vehicle training to 2.5, just because there is no working vehicles or a Javelin in this version of the game.
Same goes for the maps you suggested, they're coop maps designed to kill the AI and the AI in this version is virtually nonexistent.

The server browser inside the game uses queries that have no response anymore. It might be possible to edit them so they'd work again, but I think it's highly unlikely. The devs here don't have the source code so most things are quite hard to change inside the game.

The rule for new accounts is you're allowed to have one per computer.
Therefore making a new one on another computer shouldn't be a problem.

As for the 'deleted account', it's really hard to understand what you're trying to say. Did you have an AA account, a battletracker account or a forum account? When did you last use it?

If it was a BT account you've used with Assist and you can't find it, it's probably because you changed it's name.
There is no way for us here at Assist to delete accounts as they're really Battletracker accounts.

The training was reintroduced some time after you last played.

There is no way around doing training on account created after 2011. Even some of the admins had to do them.

The training is there to familiarize new players with the game. Otherwise we'd have the mayhem of all the new players shooting friendlies just because they didn't know better (for example).

You have enough points for 100 honor.

Next time you log in, it should update to 100.

Plus, a lot of  the settings that work for one player, don't work for another.

The settings that could affect your game include (but are not limited to):
graphics settings
key settings
sensitivity settings

And all of these vary with different equipment, not to mention different taste (in sensitivity for example).

If you play a lot and mess around a little with those settings, you will see what works best for you.
