Also, an unrelated note; if moving to 2.8 does happen, I think it would be a shame to do it without getting in touch with Darky over at DRAAT to setup a custom tracker and account system that is harder to abuse and easier to maintain.

If it was a test, you wouldn't have used your main tracked server and your main in-game account. I assume the mod came with no documentation describing what features were in it, what they did or how to execute them? You were probably randomly typing things in the console to see what works? How else would you "see what is all in the mod there"?

Oh, a standalone would be fine. Once the packages are made, you can open anything in the 2.8 editor.
I would have an unpopular request if Assist does move to 2.8.5. It would be a perfect opportunity to rewrite some things and I think there's 2 things to be done that would help save the game and bring back the nostalgia for more people;
1. Disable tracking for servers on mods outside of Assist.
2. Disable tracking for crap unrealistic maps like PoolDay. That seems to be the map the stats whores & abusers like.

It doenst matter that u never heard my name before..I'm playing this game since 2004 for many different teams like Seeds of Evil, New Generation, Mortiferus or Die Indianer..We played ESL EMS, TWL MAIN, CAL MAIN and fought many teams like your old Clan PTwars. I never get banned! - I'm clean..So WHY THE HELL SHOULD I START WITH THIS SHIT?!
Who are the guys that make me supposed to pillory? You can not arbitrarily ban someone just because you're supposed to be the opinion that he is using exploits or something like that - where are your proves?
Anyway You are sitting on the longer lever so I can only appeal to your common sense..It's your decision - u have the last word..

I'm inclined to believe this young lad. Most cheaters come in to appeal to say it was someone else and then rage when you don't accept their appeal. This guy's using his brain when posting which IMO is enough to get him unbanned.

It won't, if you get a good one. I've been running a Samsung 830 for about a year now and have written about 3.7TB to it with a couple of installs of Windows and virtual machine installs, game installs and a bunch of stuff. Still working great. The 840 PRO series is even better and has been out long enough for any issues to be sorted out. I think Crucial is about the best with firmware updates but their M4 drive is pretty old now. It's still not a bad drive, just it isn't as fast as some of the more modern ones.

Gigabyte is good. I'd say avoid MSI for, well, pretty much everything. Gigabyte, Sapphire and XFX make pretty good AMD GPU's.

AA2Reborn is a revival project made by me of a client, like Assist, that lets you play America's Army 2.8.5. It was released 1 month ago and in addition to Assist it features a new and modern auth system and anticheat, co-op mode, 800+ maps and mod support (high jump, shotguns) We're playing almost everyday from 8PM CET.
