college may be pointless learning wise, but most decent paying jobs require a college degree of some sort. So it technically isn't pointless.

School taught me how much I dislike the way it's run.

lol. Schools are terribly run. I hate my school, the stupidest people run it.
For example, our school is on a low budget, it was to the point where they couldn't supply the teachers with basic things like paper. So what does our school decide to do? Buy new Mac computers! And then a few weeks later they bought a brand new electronic sign to put out in front of the school. All this while cutting 1/4 of the teachers. Their priorities are fucked up.

I laugh at people that don't try in school and have to retake classes and have a shitty GPA. you're school isn't stupid, you are.

Lol.  Yes.  Because school is life.  No.  School is pointless.  The only thing school teaches you is how to fucking make friends and have a social life.  The classes they offer and give you mean shit.  You learn what the teacher knows.  The teacher doesn't know much or sucks at teaching means you learn shit and all that time spent in class was pointless.  So no sir, you are stupid.  Just because you get a few good grades doesn't mean shit.

It means that I can get into a good college and not have to pay for a lot of it.  I love your badass attitude though. School isn't hard, it's a stupid decision to not try to get at least decent grades.

I have no need to change voltage. I might give the program a try.

Killaman, I think you're in the best opportunity for gaining experience. You got a OEM and it worked for you but as you expand more you realize the limitations so your transition to building one should be pretty seamless and trouble-free. OEM computers are great for simple users and people that repair them :P

BTW, did you ever try SetFSB?

Well I wouldn't have gotten a new computer if it wasn't for Dell since I didn't have a lot of money up front, you can get a payment plan for a Dell computer where you pay monthly.

And no, I have not tried setFSB. How does it work?

I never go around to posting a pic of my computer. It's not good quality because it is a cell phone camera.
Processor:
Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory:
4096MB RAM
Hard Drive:
489 GB
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX
Monitor:
Samsung SyncMaster 932BW 3000:1 1440x900
Operating System:
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100226-1909)
Motherboard:
Foxxcon G33M01
Computer Case:
Inspiron 530

I really regret ever buying an OEM computer. Not being able to overclock my cpu is driving me crazy. They also gave me a motherboard that supports quad-cores but lacks the number of voltage regulators to use them.  >:(

The Federal Government actually blocked part of the law. The law will still go in effect, but it is not going to work as intended, meaning the law is basically useless. The government can't do their god damn job but get mad when the states do it for them. Our national government is full of morons, including Obama.

It kind of sucks looking at these thread where people are all talking about doing cool things and all you can do is sit on the sideline and watch.  :-[

Well, I'm still unsure and have made 0 progress. The torrent I downloaded doesn't have the editor, unless the exe uses a switch but I've only ever seen that on UE3 games. I just tried -editor and that resulted in nothing. So for those that want to pirate to see, don't download "killing floor 1011 Full Game Nosteam (online) madwiggyNLD". Waste of time and bandwidth.

Spanky might have to buy a game.  :o

On topic, I like the idea and I'm sure my 0 talents will be of use some time or another.

Not that anyone really cared that it was illegal, I'm just pointing out that these are now legal.

You can crack your PC games, but there is a catch.

Quote
Video games accessible on personal computers and protected by technological protection measures that control access to lawfully obtained works, when circumvention is accomplished solely for the purpose of good faith testing for, investigating, or correcting security flaws or vulnerabilities, if:
(i) The information derived from the security testing is used primarily to promote the security of the owner or operator of a computer, computer system, or computer network; and
(ii) The information derived from the security testing is used or maintained in a manner that does not facilitate copyright infringement or a violation of applicable law.

Who the hell cracks a game they own for security reasons? It is either to play without a disc or to make it to where you don't always have to be online to play. I feel they did not go far enough with this ruling because the DRM that some companies like EA, and worst of all, Ubisoft put in their games should be illegal.
