I like them all, but the pokemon ones are pretty plain and they all lack depth.

They were are signatures made in 10-15 minutes. I am usually bad with displaying depth though.

Archi, I know you have. Killaman, I don't think you've had the pleasure.

I remember you were on Ak4 vent once but you never talked.

It's weird I've known you like forever and never heard you speak on TS/Vent or anything. Only that one clip with you and Gnar talking and I forget what exactly happened that made it funny, something about Gnar's sister maybe?

I've never heard Spanky talk.

Games & Programming / KiLLaMaN's PC games
« on: Friday, August 06, 2010, 22:55:53 PM »
These are the PC games I have gathers over the years. After realizing all of the money I wasted, I managed to snap a picture of them.

Digital Downloads
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Sins of a Solar Empire
Audiosurf
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010
Need For Speed Most Wanted
Diablo 2

I prefer to buy hard copies of my games. I downloaded those games because they were either on sale or I got them for free.

I is lost!

direct X is graphics technology that PC games use to produce their graphics. Microsoft makes it so it is only on Pc, this is one of the main reasons macs do not get every games PCs get. As you can guess, DirectX 9 is what games have been using for a long time. But Microsoft has recently brought out DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 that are capable of doing many more things and have a ton of better features. The only problem is that games using DirectX 10 usually have high system requirements. DirectX 11 is only supported by ATI's 5xxx series and Nvidia's GTX 4xx series. I hope this helped.  :-\

DirectX 9 was released in 2002, that is an 8 year old technology. It has to be phased out eventually.

It shouldn't be phased out when people are still using it though. people with XP can't go above DX9.

At some stage technology has to move forward...

They could have easily supported DX9 while still supporting DX10 and 11. A ton of games do it.

UPDATE: Battlefield 3 is leaving DX9 behind. That's right, Battlefield 3 will only support DX10 and DX11. Sorry XP owners. This is somewhat good news for PC gamers since consoles can only do DX9, there is a hope that Battlefield 3 will be built differently for the PC. It is also a sign that the requirements might be pretty high, as if Bad Company 2's weren't already.

So what's the ETA on our Pokemon match?

On a more serious note, that sounds pretty bad. All of the cables in my house are hidden, besides the surround sound speakers. Having cables all along my floor would drive me crazy.

I don't think it will go down either but it just seems less and less used and liked. The only edge they have is in-game chat really. I used to use it a lot but now only for the rare chat and counting the hours I piss away on games.

It is also the only program (to my knowledge) that tracks most games and allows in-game chat for every game it supports. I also love how you can take screenshots, videos, and actually stream live video from a game you are playing so others can watch you.
