OK I fixed it but I still have no sound.I don't use Linux to play the game, but I remember I tried to a long ago and I had issues with the Pulse Audio service which needed to be restarted.

I will never play on seke or mapstravaganza server on aa2. The reason is that i did try to get NESS unbaned on the mapstravafuck server. Then they did show me a sreenshot - you can find it at aao25 forum - which should show me that NESS did team kill players. This puberting finland noob does really think that he (only playing 2 years aa2) is the big star of aa2. But the joke about all is that he first admin kicked NESS, before NESS qdid start to team kill one player.
So this evening, for those who has time, we are on THE BIG PARTY AFTER or any other server, but not Mapstavafuckmeforever.

My quwtion is this. Why are you letting carry on like this? This has gone on to long. So why ?
I first played AA at a friends house in July of 2002, v 1.0.This was something happening on the latest year of life of 2.8.5 aswell (to a smaller degree), there have been countless attempts to get people to play different maps, but indeed the community is now really small and you often find more or less the same people playing the same maps, and many might not be so friendly/polite as they should be.
Went and built my very first PC just for AA. Had my own account at version 1.2.1
Love that I can now login and play again however this community is not the greatest, and the players active and their attitudes are even worse.
I really did not expect to see the majority of players online to be only playing pipe and hospital. The clans with servers and their admins seem generally hostile and aggressive to anyone who doesn't suck up to them.
Also it seems a large number of players are still playing for raising stats rather than fun friendly gameplay, which really slows things down and dulls the gameplay.
Great thing going here but I find the community is lacking positivity. Not many friendly or fun players out there, too much needless bickering.
Game is 15 years old, get over yourselves.
to play only aa2, you do not need that kind of high end computers. better buy a good headset like sennheiser and a good sound card.He uses that pc for other purposes than just gaming, although that's a good recommendation, a good headset makes quite a difference.

Hey. So i only play AA 2.5. I dont play any other games on my PC and not really interested in playing any other pc games in the near future. I have my xbox one for that. But the main reason why i am building this computer this way is because i am a day trader. Thats what i do for a living. I have multiple charts open at one time, multiple research websites, chatroom and live news streaming service. So intenese multitasking. And i think the computer that i have build here will do the job just fine for that. Let me know what you think Koden, you seem to be a specialist at this. Thanks bud.I'm not a specialist, I assembled my own pc but I don't do that as an hobby/job. If you only play AA2 that card is even more than you need, although even Bernard is right about Nvidia (they worked better for me than the Radeons I had). That CPU has an unlocked multiplier that is meant for overclocking, but if you need to multitask heavily, the i7 6700 is surely good at it...if you want even more performance (overkill to me) you can move to the 12 cores cpus or the (insanely priced) Xeon which use different and more expensive motherboards (they're dedicated to workstations and server use). If you need to drive several monitors you might take a look at Quadro cards (for Nvidia) or FirePro (for Amd).
Have you ever read source code of an actual GPU driver?...no, and what a pointless question. Have you? (You haven't even replied to my legitimate questions, tho).
