Yep, we have this fondue stand and you just light the stove and put the pot on the stand above and you can cook with it.

We had a power outage yesterday, it was only for a few hours but it got me thinking. If it had been longer we wouldn't be able to cook or even boil water because our stove is electric.

So I made this.

It burns alcohol and works well enough to boil cold water in under 10 minutes. I can get 10-12 minutes of burn off 4oz of alcohol. Its pretty nifty. I'm proud of it, its my own design and it only took me 3-4 hours from thinking about making it to testing and tweaking. Its made out of the bottom of an Arizona Icetea can and the bottom of a cherry coke can.

I meant it more as a stick-in-the-spokes of your skateboard =\

I know you did lol I just think it would be kind of fun. (And depending on the skaters wheel size this would work the way you intended)

Nah. Not living in the city, I don't run across many skateboarders so I don't really care. If I was passionate about my POV on this topic, I'd buy a couple of 1" dowels at the local hardware store, cut them in 1 foot sections then toss them in front of skateboarders that were discourteous.

Lol that might be fun, you throw them and I try to ollie them....its your basic positive/negative reinforcement lol.

I sense a dann - killa style argument approaching.

You need more training padawan.

I won't argue this point because unless you skateboard, unless you are willing to hurt your self every day for some thing you love doing then you cannot understand. And I cannot make you understand. Plus this is a pointless argument from my point of view because none of you are in a position to change any thing (law, public opinion)  when it comes to this topic.

Won't happen.

Its really easy, one of you set a time on a track and record it, the other match or beat it. Rinse Repeat.

I'm with skrewy. You obviously don't have a skateboard for transportation, Yes I do I just dont go any where you have it for tricks. Most bikers use theirs for transportation, those that don't, you see them at skateparks. Skateboarding is an awkward form of transportation. You can't stop immediately or turn real sharpyes I can stop dead and turn on a dime to avoid someone without flipping the board somewhere. Think about the people that are walking and have a skateboarder zoom by them discourteously-lol I had to fix it my firefox was yelling at me to-. My argument is all about safety with about 20% of practicality mixed in.
Wikipedia just failed me.

Next.
