O man assist can't do nothing right without some one always crying about something

I haven't seen what's you's did , but sounds like you's did a great job for the holidays,
Keep up the good work guys
I ain't crying, im putting on a thread where people can have their say. Not everything negative is a personal attack to the assist team, I love their work but just not this map. Quit gobbling.

Holiday spirit and all that aside. The winter, snowy aka the.snow.is.so.bad.it.makes.me.all.dizzy.
Does anyone actually like it? When holidays are coming, you get time to play and you are stuck with that. Didn't find a winter ic thread.

Make sure you ban for the "Aliases binds" aswell then, I use to, back in like 2.4 or something when fastswap was removed bind one of the Aliases in user.ini to crouch|onrelease|stand to my crouch button, so if you're gonna do it, do it all the way, if you didn't know about this, here you go.

General Chat / Re: Is AA2 beter than AA4 YES / NO
« on: Monday, September 16, 2013, 17:09:42 PM »
This is my opinion, which ofcourse is correct.

People who spent a huge amount of time and effort in the aa2 game, learning every possible way to play it, learned nades, tactics, bugs, exploits, advantages. To use in their own winning, or to prevent some doing them. These people, including myself, can't appreciate the aa3 and aa4 gameplay since it is not part of the same family when it comes to movement, gameplay, sound and feeling. This being said, my conclusion is that people who played aa2 in a less serious level, enjoy the new americas army games more than say, for instance myself. I can't bring myself to get into a game, get serious and have fun (this is how i have fun playing a online fps game) when aa4 is like a completley diffrent game, with a whole other gameplay and feeling. there's no advantage tactics, the maps don't allow it, there's no smart gameplay since you can't hear shit compared to aa2. Being a betatester for aa4 I learned this very early, trying to convice developers of AA4 to lean more towards the old gameplay in aa2 was like trying to scream in outer space (which would be easier to try then to play aa4 in the way you played aa2)

For me, and for the whole community that spent as much time in aa2 as myself, or even more time; aa4 is a total waste of time and money from the developers and the american gouverment.

You all pro-aa4 people can go along and say that it's a really good game and they improved alot of stuff, statistically and ofcourse imo you are dead beat wrong. The amount of players playing aa4, and aa3 which i barely even mention since it was an utter failiure is probably exceeded by the amount of people still playing aa2 through assist.

I miss the good gameplay and friends i made through AA, seeing people trying to keep aa2 alive makes me happy, sure. But it will never be the same again.

Bug Reports / Re: Prone warning
« on: Sunday, September 08, 2013, 15:22:14 PM »
The warnings are a really, really bad idea, since it screws up matches, scrims and any other serious playing, pubbing to for that matter. Before we had this, we just votekicked / disputed if someone did it, it was common practice and to be perfectly honest it was never a problem, not the problem that needed "fixing" atleast not this fix, to be paralyzed and not being able to aim because you 10/10 times does this in accident, is really bad. Remove this silly shit, it helps no one.

You guys dont makes any sense. If you see his mouse moving, you see recoil because that moves your center of view / aimer. Go spectate any person shooting and you see its obvious recoil.

If he has no recoil it wont move other than his mouse movements.

If he is legit you will see the recoil and him fighting the recoil to keep aimer on target.

You can without a doubt judge if a player has recoil by viewing them.
ok bud, sounds good.

In spectate view you have their view. Sure, you cant see hud or weapon or aim dot. BUT the screen does move ( up and to the right ) when they shoot...Just as it would as if you were playing.

Im blown away you guys cant see this yourself. Sure, its harder to see but it is absolutely visible while viewing someone.

Look at the chat box and compare it to surroundings, or the corner of you screen on the background.
What you see is the person you're viewing moving his mouse...Not the recoil.

Easiest way to spot no recoil I find is to look at the chat box letters in chat and watch them against the back ground. If it shakes they got recoil.

Usually want to see them fire from a few positions and multiple times.
What.the.fuck are you talking about m8? there's no recoil when spectating, and if this is how catch "them" i bet you see alot of no recoils, especially when they are proned or have full CEM. Having been banned more time than i can count over the years for no recoil, both by ACI, AASA and other shit foundations in aao i can say that there's no way you can see if someone has recoil or not by just spectating them.

Doesn't cheat. I wonder how do you spot no recoil by viewing them? You can't.
