as i did post in the shoutbox, the auth server and the game servers has to be on the same datacenter on the same network, otherwise it is really hard to filter the traffic from good and bad ones. but yes, maybe there will be a 2nd auth server located in Europe. but since ELiZ is gone, i dont think that this can be done.

with the paypal account, where is the problem? even if the ddosser would pay for a folder to run server on this protected one, what can he do? i do not want to hold this paypal account - i would ask B!GSergio to handle it over the regular donation account. i know him good and the trust is there from both sides - so he can pay it in my name to the datacenter or i will. but the money has to come. nothing good is cheap.

But again, you don't have to challange it yet. first we need a protection that works. and i dont know how long it is to go this way. but one thing i know, without support from here it is a dead end road.

this is a good question, but not my primary target. when a solution is found, then i do not want the money back. i will offer to spend money to this solution then, but not alone.

so i need for this new protection others supporting this also with money. some did say, they will. instead having you own rented server, they are able to jump on this hugh server on theyr own folder, with its own user and password. then a paypal account needs to be feeded every month. thats it.

2. from a vps
3. you can only stop this by expanding the aa25 program
4. i do pay now 350$ per month for this shit
5. i am waiting so far for a response from possessed about expanding the program
6. the second solution is to attack also waa servers - somebody will do this soon
7. YOU all should stay together to help this game out of that misery

yes, as i did tell the community already at shoutbox. these are possessed servers from vortex.com, the guy called Nick who did protect the auth server. but all do say, it is too laggy .

and i did ask him to do a map vote server, and he did it - and many others as you can see.

and it is possible to protect as you also can see. but expensive for a none datacenter owner.

nice attacking, wow. now i would really like to know who from the server owners would like to play on there own server without ddos attacks. so far, there are:
