The above post has been completely pointless, unhelpful and asinine. Your post has been given a 0/10 on the good post-o-meter. Please try and post relevant, helpful, insightful or at the very least funny content.

Sincerely,
Kody M. Hungenberg - Staff.

You're the one posting about CoD4's hit detection in a Medal of Honor review. That is just as irrelevant as my comment.

BULLSHIT

I played that game more than you probably have played every game you have ever played in your life. I was paid to play it at one point. The hit boxes are shit. Not as bad as CSS/TF2 but BAD.

The whole large text thing is a bit much.

CSS and CoD games have fantastic net code.

CoD games, especial MW2, lag like hell.

Oh right, I remember now cuz me and Blue were wondering why they did that since UE3 has a multiplayer aspect...

It is because DICE wanted to use what they were familiar with.

Whaaaaaa... I thought it was the other way around...

Nope. DICE made the multiplayer and used their engine, which is frostbite.

The original ones, I don't think he had any part in this new one.

Blue, the environments look way better. I'm really liking the Frostbite engine for it's lighting. BFBC2 was pretty mind-blowing and this is stacked right next to it.

Frostbite is only used for the online portion of the game. A heavily modified UE3 is used for the singleplayer portion.

I wasn't going to post in this thread any more as people are being asinine, but I have to address this here. I can go and play a game of touch football with friends if I wanted to. There is no way I can go and play cheap trick songs, or sing heart songs. That musical talent isn't some thing just any one can do. And I say I enjoy concert. Singular, I have been to ONE concert in my life and yes I did enjoy it.

And you can't go and play Professional football. I can sing and play guitar, but I am not good at it. Just like you can go play football, but you are not good at it. I enjoy watching the best of the best play football just like you enjoy watching the best of the best play music. you're talking about talent like football doesn't require any. It does. Both scenarios are literally the same thing.

Also, who the hell plays touch football?

You can't really have a simple and realistic shooter at the same time.

I say fuck what the majority wants. They are a culmination of too much stupidity that targeting them is not going to leave you with a project you can be proud of.

Don't forget there's a lot of games out there not targeted to every mother fucker. These games really gain a very strong following from the people who play it, and more often than not, if you try it and really attempt to consider what's going on you too can see why there's a strong following to it.

This is true. But you have to remember, developers are in it to make money. If their game will only sell to a few people, it needs an extremely small budget, which in-turn, means a mediocre game.

submachine guns where brought out into the latter stages of ww1

remember americas army wasnt big budget u gotta have faith

true. I just wonder who would take on such a project? There are not many respectable FPS developers left.

remember ww1 wasnt all trench warfare, like minded people would flock to a 'realistic' shooter that requires skill to play

There is not a big enough audience for the game to result in a big budget. The game would have to be extremely cheap to make. Not to mention that a lot of people won't buy the game because there are no submachine guns. Not many people would want to just use single shot rifles with the occasional machine gun emplacement. I mean, I think the game could be fun, but judging by what the majority of gamers are buying now, I can't see it ever being successful.

TBH, I wouldn't go as far as to say that but I'm somewhat leaning towards it. I know he enjoys concerts and to me, they're really the same thing as watching a sports game, going and watching someone else do something. I hate both equally. Spanky is not hypocritical.

Watching a sports game is just like watching a movie. You are watching things that a human can actually do.

If you cannot make an informed, intelligent rebut the best thing would be to do nothing. Yet you chose to insult me instead. Again I'm not saying being closed minded is a bad thing. Billions of people are.

You had nothing to back up me being closed minded, nor did you even explain why you thought so. How can I rebut an argument that is not there?
