Game Reviews / Re: Medal of Honor [2010] [47MB of Screenshots!]

I have a few more thoughts on this game. Having played a good portion tonight, there are a few things that bug me. Does the singleplayer really have to be that scripted? There is so much scripting and at some points, it is awesome, but at others, it just gets in the way. Why do I have to get helped up over a wall when everyone else managed to get up on their own fine? Are you liek the wussy of the squad? and why do I have to be last through certain doors? It is annoying when I am in the front of the squad and have to wait for everyone to pass by. Also, in the chopper mission, it never told you how to fire a hellfire missile, either that or they hid it pretty well. I had to look it up on the internet.

Other than that though, I really love this game. One of the best singleplayer modern warfare shooters I have played in a long time. I love how all of the stories combine and how they transfer you from one person to another, it just feels so well thought out. The guns feel great, the movements feels great, and the whole game seems polished spare a few bug, like the guy that was supposed to open a door just kept running into the wall, I had to shoot him in the foot to fix it. There are a few minor annoyances, but the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

Good to see you're enjoying it Killaman :) I'd agree 100% the guns are fantastic and everything is very fluid. I did utter some 4 letter words all 30 times I just clicked right-click for scope :P

It is weird that the same game uses 2 engines. The scope is not like that in multiplayer, just singleplayer. Also, you can prone in singleplayer but not multiplayer. Grenades feel really awkward in multiplayer.

I got MoH for Christmas (partly due to the BF3 beta invite) and I am really enjoying the singleplayer. The guns feel better than any FPS I have ever played and everything seems so fluid. I do hate how you have to hold right click for the scope though, but I have played other games like that. I have yet to try the multiplayer, but judging by the beta, it probably won't be as good as the singleplayer. Great game so far.

EDIT: I played some multi-player and it is actually pretty good. They definitely made some changed since the beta. The guns feel much better as well as the movements. The visuals are like Bad Company 2 but the game feels new and refreshing. I absolutely love the feel of the guns.

I deserved to be insulted because I was telling headshot my plans for the future? That really makes no sense at all. I guess I will know better next time than to share things with this community.

Killaman will simply have to learn to deal with "Mr.Dumbunny", as I have learned to deal with "Resident Prick". He should know better than to think I actually mean it.

I have never seen anyone call you that. Also, calling people names is not a great way to get rid of the nickname anyways, especially when you insult people in serious threads without adding anything to the overall conversation.

I said that I thought it looked cool and I didn't get a thanks. :(

Killaman...err; Mr. DumbBunny: Again, you prove plenty worthy of the nickname you are most known as on my Contact List. No one in this community has any technical knowledge on Animation whatsoever. 70% of the world doesn't either. Some people, however, have their share bit of knowledge in Art...but then again, 50% of the world hasn't. I believe you either do not give a fuck (both literal and metaphorical meanings applied), or you are simply too narrow-minded to stretch your thoughts out of your comfort zone: American Football, Games and Computers   ---Care to prove this statement wrong? Please do. Whilst you read these offensive words against you and think "OH, Dann is such a douchebag!!", I would like to say that; No, I do not truly believe you are dumb. However, for reasons that go beyond me, you do come out as one typical dumb-American (no offence meant to the American Population, for as much as I would have enjoyed so....in ignorance). It is now up to you to either express yourself differently or simply man it up and start believing you aren't all that smart...and most of your smartness is an act of your subconscious.

I have more "comfort" zones than that.... Art doesn't really interest me. I guess you could say I'm narrow minded then if you want.

I would also like to point out that I have never claimed to be very smart.

I'm just going to say that you don't need knowledge to know how to express your feelings about something. Proper grammar and language skills would be good though...

I'm just saying that I don't know what is good or not. I can only say what I think looks good, which holds very little weight.  Also, how was my sentence grammatically incorrect?

The name reminds me of the intro to an Iron Maiden song. Not really related to the work but at least it is a response.  :-\

It looks cool. I mean, I really don't have the knowledge to comment on something like this. It could be brilliant, it could suck. I have no idea. All I know is that it looks pretty cool. I feel like I have said this before.

It's weird. I don't get any errors when doing the drive self check, it just says failed. and now it always fails without the bar going up, when before it would go up. Why is it failing without giving me any errors?

CoD4 accesses the hard drive far more than any game Ive ever seen. Its some thing with the engine. I had the same stuttering when I had CoD4 installed on my variable speed drive.

but if it was failing wouldn't I see other signs?

I would be cloning that hard drive as soon as possible just in case it fails.

Done. I don't have that much important stuff anyways.

Well I tested my hard drive with SeaTools and it failed both the short and long self tests. It failed the tests rather quickly, which leaves me to wonder why everything else but CoD 4 works perfectly fine on my computer....

Doing some more tests. It passed the short generic test and is still doing the long generic test.

So you're on a high-end CRT then? I don't see how you get 100FPS and still have VSync on unless it's a bug or something. VSync should cap FPS at your monitors refresh rate which is most likely 60hz so 60FPS would be max. Although there seems to be 1 exception: BF2. I always get 100FPS there...

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough. I turned off vsync and some other settings to see if it was that. I was getting 100FPS with the stuff off, including vsync.

replacing parts for people is easy, all the works done for u, and its all put it to code when the house was built, u take broken item, buy new item, put in where old item was

charge $30 per hour $50 callout fee and charge then for the replacement part + 15%

ahh, I see what you are talking about now. I was thinking more along the lines of the plumbers that install the entire plumbing while building a house. That is not an easy job.
