The Lounge / Re: Assisted Suicide?
« on: Tuesday, April 05, 2011, 17:42:37 PM »
I think it's murder. Assisted suicide to me is helping, but not actually causing, the death of another person who wants to commit suicide. By actually stabbing him, he committed murder.

Since this failed miserably, I'll be honest and blame Killaman. It was his idea. :)
Hey, you even said it was a good idea. You actually did it. :P

This would have come in handy when Windows 7 just randomly decided that my external hard drive needed to be reformatted before using.

The Lounge / Re: Japan's Nuclear Reactors
« on: Monday, March 14, 2011, 21:11:09 PM »
While it could be a sticky situation for Japan, I doubt we will get anything over here in the U.S. unless they have a full meltdown. Also, I would just like to point out that those explosions were caused by them using emergency cooling methods. They pumped salt water into the reactors to try and cool them down. It's better to have a few explosions than a meltdown. So far they said the inner casings of the reactors are still intact. I am praying for this situation to defuse soon and not result in a full meltdown. At any rate, a second Chernobyl type situation is impossible but the situation remains very dangerous.

I love the look of the site. It is very simple and neat. The work on the site is also very nice.

Can you re-word this? I've read it multiple times and still have no idea what it's supposed to say.
He is saying that instead of just flat out saying what happened and what they do, I should say "in my experiences" because not every place is the same.

An ejector seat wouldn't work in a space shuttle for many reasons.

incase one fell over and exploded... dur

That doesn't happen though. it happened way back in the day with the unmanned rockets when we were testing the technology, but space shuttles don't just fall over.

how do u figure? cos no one can survive high speed crashes? no one can survive natural disasters? or just cos shuttles for some reason dont have eject buttons?
It EXPLODED. Explosion = boom everything is dead. It would be one thing if it just fell, but you said "and exploded". You can't survive a space shuttle explosion, you know home much rocket fuel is there? and NO, there is no eject button is a space shuttle, why would there be?

If the shuttle explodes, I'm pretty sure the people inside would die.

While that maybe true for the GameStops in your area, its not true for all of them. The game stop closest to my house has some really cool people working there and I enjoy going into that store. If you are going to make a thread bashing a chain post that, in your experience at the stores you have gone to, are bad, because chances are they aren't bad every where.
All 3 in my area are pretty bad, especially when it comes to PC games. I never said they weren't nice, the people are usually nice, they just don't know anything about the PC or PC games.
