hmm, try deleting the "server" folder + aa25.ini(replace this with a new one), assist will re-download server files.
then reconfigure ur server.

imo, anything that is not a type of "cheat" like huge ammount of points & etc should be allowed, its up to the players to choose how they want to play.

and my opnion its extensive, i just cant express all.

I said this in the shoutbox and I guess one of you saw it.

If you guys are running the server with Assist, please do Reset + Repair AA in the Settings tab. Then restart the server.

If you are using the dedicated server, replace the file Antipoke.u with a new copy from your AA install. Then restart the server.

deleting the "server" folder makes assist download the server files again, no need to re download all files

for dedicated servers the "server" folder is inside the System folder, for desktops its on "25Assist" folder

for desks:
Code: [Select]

Ahhhh okay. So when you add the md5 hash for the new package the demos work?

well I dont know how it rly works, all i know is that you if modify T-maps.utx(or ay other file), users with the original file will not be able to join your server (and vice-versa), but if you use conform that wont happen, for some reason demos require the damn T-maps, I guess the same happen with maap maps. see my previous post

http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/743822-ucc-conform

edit, unless the aa version with editor have its own UCC, its not possible to conform the original t-maps with the one of assist, but i think its possible to do with newer version of assist in the future.  ;D

I'm lost. I still don't know what the point is.

think of the 2.5 league, it may require players to record in-game demos, demos recorded with assist v7.13 wil not work with assist v7.14 if the T-Maps.utx files get modified again, same with maap maps that have other dependencies(T-mAAp etc), conform make a modified file compatible with the original file, or the new modded file with the old modded file.
I'm sure BlueBaster can explain this beter than me.

in my aa-pbsv.cfg theres no md5tool check for this file, LEN2048 is too big for a 4KB file, the lowest size for md5tool is 16KB(LEN16).

LEN2048 makes the md5tool scan the first 2048(2 MB) bytes from the file, revome that md5tool check from ur server config.

md5 hashs are diferent for every LEN value you specify.

If it's only t-maps then we can try to conform it. Although all conform does is copy the binaries from the old package to the new package. The md5's are still different. I'm not sure it would work but I'll still try it.

will be diferent files, but will allow u to join a server, basically that is what a demo do, just update aa-pbsv.cfg with the new pb md5 hash, its up to you guys, final file size will increase a bit.

So your old tournament demos don't play in the game anymore?
I havent old demos recorded by me, i loaded 2 demos that comes with Pascam, in order to play a tourny you have to record a demo, thats my point, sry for begin too dumb with english :D

about the pascam demos, they work with the original t-maps file. and no,  i wasnt using pascam.

Like what though? The mAAps that are in Assist now don't even get played, and you're wanting to go for some other map that was removed for a good reason?

i think maap maps arent played because they arent fully tracked(nothing to do with assist), and I was thinking of tournament demos, thats why i posted it here.
map shots can be placed in another texture file(at least its what i think),  see tours.ini, I just want to help, Im not flamming the hard work  your guys have done  ;)

damn typos  :-[

Code: [Select]
ucc conform newpack.utx originalpack.utx

I noticied that demos from the non-assist AA don't work because of a file mismatch, in this case "T-Maps" package,
think of Assist demos, with new updates, old demos record with assist will not work.
cau you guys conform some packs for backward compatibility?

I think Assist tracking should disable if another (unsupported) mod is used. More mods should be added to Assist but there's plenty of mods that ruin gameplay and drive the unique gameplay away along with a user base.

if servers without hackhunter arent tracked, just tell that those servers havent hackhunter(but they do)

I doubt many people use hsc.natescomp.com now, AAO25 has been out for months. Plus, if the hsc.natescomp.com redirection has been broken for a month and a half, that casts more doubt. It's not that big of a deal to login to AAO25.com instead of hsc.natescomp.com now.
i meant www.aao25.com too :D, btw thx for your work!  8)

I enter here through http://aao25.com, but if try http://www.aao25.com or http://hsc.natescomp.com
it load the entire site again and does not reconize the current session(cookies), before the theme update http://hsc.natescomp.com(I had it in my favs.) used to redirect to http://aao25.com
