hey with the beta version i can not load my player account id. with the normal assist its no problem???

it say : player not found on battletracker.com
please register your player account at battletracker.com
Sometimes your battletracker account name isn't your AA username. It works with normal assist because you can have any username you want due to the auth server being down.

Just tested it and it works like a charm. So awesome that this was done in such a short amount of time. Way to go Jonnym.

I would vote to keep honor irrelevant or keep everybody at 10.
But I'm so close to 80. :(  :P  It's not like honor did anything anyways, besides give you a better position to select a weapon.

If you made a new authorization server would that mean everyone would have to start at 10 honor again with new accounts?

doesnt draat require u to add server i.ps into the tracker instead of it scanning the game and getting stats of all the (honor) servers?
Yeah, but that wouldn't be too difficult with the few servers 2.5 actually still has.

So 2.5 is completely down? There are servers up but I can't log in.

Koden, I would be careful with your PSU. I have a system running a Phenom II x4 BE, 4GB of 1600MHz RAM, single hard drive, single CD drive and a Radeon 6570. It runs fine without a problem but I wouldn't really push it beyond that. The system is similar to yours although Nvidia cards eat more power. If I were you, I would get one of those Corsair Builder Series 500-watt or so PSU's.

My PC is running on a 400w PSU even though my 8800GTX recommends 450w. I haven't had a problem....yet. I do plan on buying a corsair 500w if I ever upgrade my PC though.

I wrote a review for the game on this site.
http://hsc.natescomp.com/reviews/red-orchestra-2-heroes-of-stalingrad/

I really like it. It is much different from your average BF/CoD generic run n' gun shooters. I can be frustrating at times and it takes a while to adapt to the gameplay, but it is really fun when you do. Also, I have yet to be on a team where at least 1 person doesn't have a mic, which is always a good thing. There is friendly fire in the game and your allies aren't lit up with green names from far away so communication is important.

As a serious question, is 2.5 really worth saving? The last few times I ever went on it was just one server populated and it was a stupid modded server every single time. Would there even be a large enough player base for it to be worth it?

They stopped mods being loaded into the game engine at about 2.7, So we cant do much with the newer versions. Can't use player admins because as soon as someone realises who the admins are they can just log-in with those names and be admins too. Anybody can take any name unless we make a new auth system.
Oh yeah. I remember people doing that when the Auth system went down a few times a while ago.

:) My point is though, that you can search for used parts. For $98, my server will be easily upgradeable, 1 part at a time. The whole house is on AM3 now so 1 upgrade means 3 computers can get upgraded :)
The thing about used parts is the lack of a warranty. My GPU has broken twice already. I can't afford to replace parts on my minimum wage job. :P
