If i reinstall punkbuster i cant even join a server then it says : version mismatch and something with '' antipoke''.

yesterday, at the time while the Messages like "....Firewall/Connections" apeared, some of our clan did reinstall a new window. then they installed a fresh aa25assist - and this message like you have here did pop up too.

the problem was, that this antipoke version they had on the computer (with this fresh install) was not the one it should be. and the correct one you have to get from that connection that was down yesterda (SourceForge).

and i guess - however - you can not connect to download it too.

so ask a friend of yours to mail this 2 files (antipoke.u and antipoke.ini). i guess then it will work agian. but you should find out the problem (maybe port or Firewall), because after every update you will have the same problem agian.

I just downloaded 25Assist yesterday and I was almost sure the problem was on my side when I saw that error. Also, another problem I'm having is trying to figure out where all the AA game files were stored. I am using Win XP and there is no Application Data folder under my username in the Documents and settings like the FAQ says.

it is a hidden folder. you have to unhide it over windows explorer settings.
C:\Documents and settings\USERNAME\Application Data\25Assist\

i just had this issue while restarting server.

strange to me is, that all my ports over 8000 are connection and running without error message.
all below them genereat this message.

correction about: this is not true, just tyed it again and i do not work at all. sorry.

search the internet, full of them 

do you have the possiblity to try aa25 on other computer in same LAN?
or over the air?
and sorry for that again, but have you completly deinstalled aa2, also hidden folders. download new and try again.
if you are not dedecting packet loss with the specials tools for it, then it must be a part of the programm. have you windows essentials installed and active? if so, deactivate it and try again.
more i dont know at the moment. but do test this please.

maybe you should check also all the ports to be open -> see other thread about them.
but i dont think this is the problem, but ...

just a try to help you out of this:

search your computer for ALL aa2 or aa3 files. most of them you maybe do not see because they are in hidden folders. and i am almost sure, that this could solve your problem. search and look for older or newer installations of aa*, but first configure your windows browser to see the hidden folders.

delete ALL of the aa related files - realy everything - and try a real fresh and new installation of aa25assist. i hope it will work. this game needs every player - except cheaters. then start the game without any changes (no changes at user.ini at this moment) and watch out what happend. if still on error, post the error message in here, but do not forget to tell us what king of operating system you use.
