Honor Claims / Re: Account Claim: [oR.osiris]

Way to sound grateful for help.

If Battletracker admins weren't willing to do anything, what makes you think we can do anything? We have almost no access to BT.

I wouldn't know how to do it, ELiZ is thinking about it. I don't think he has looked to see if it's 100% possible or not.

I imagine that would require a LOT more work than AI would. For now, we would just remove vehicles and move up the spawns.

That sounds good also , is there going to be any new maps "Custom maps" to be played on Co-op mod only ?

If we can't turn co-op on/off and have it on all maps, you can bet that there will be custom maps with co-op on it. Snakeplain, Interdiction and other official ones would be re-converted with AI.

but which maps will have that option??

Ideally, all of them. Perhaps somehow we can add them to all maps and then the server admin could switch it on or off.

General Chat / Re: Lack of players
« on: Sunday, August 11, 2013, 18:56:18 PM »
There's been a lot of discussion before about how to bring in more players. I don't know what has been effective. I think just spreading the word. I'm trying to get more information and FAQs together for easy answers to new players questions. To be honest though, there's more players than there used to be on 2.5 before auth shut down.

Trying to sort out the stats, it looks like a permissions issue at the host level. I sent an e-mail to Pegasus, we'll see what he says. In the mean time, I'll reset all the stats so people don't rely on them.

In a free moment I could write for you ini setup tutorial.
Go for it :)

One thing that's quiet disturbing me is the wrong numbers of online players,on the top of this page. Any chance to fix it?
And I don''t know if the stats are good on the info page. Most people online = 400? Lol never seen this before
All the stats together are not executing for some reason. I tried to fix this but I don't know what's going on. I'll look at it again. I think the most online needs to be reset too.

News / SAI is released!
« on: Sunday, August 11, 2013, 17:41:10 PM »
The new update from Assist today introduces the 2.8-style SAI into America's Army 2.5. The SAI has most of the features that were available in 2.8 plus a few that didn't exist such as scaling, transparency and locations. Try it out and let us know if you run into any problems by posting in this thread:

General Chat / AAO25 Info Page
« on: Sunday, August 11, 2013, 17:33:47 PM »
For well over a year, various information on the Info page on this site has been outdated or broken. I'm in the process now of fixing and cleaning things up as well as adding new content. BlueBlaster authored a page a couple years ago for a Getting Started tutorial on the AA25.org site. I want to centralize things as much as possible so I copied the page here, edited it and updated some things. I will soon add a SAI tutorial to it as well. The point of this thread is to find feedback from users to make it more understandable and add the information/tutorials you want.

This news post was never started to be a discussion, it is simply stating a fact; drop the issue.

This should be news to alert people to drop the subject. Any more attempts to discuss the topic will result in a lock of this thread. It is done, deal with it.

I frankly don't think he owes you any explanation.

Exactly. To get right to the point, this is Jonny's project. Nobody can tell him what to do. He's here as a volunteer, just like the rest of us. He created this, he owns it. If you don't like it, you don't have to use it. The degree of transparency he chooses is something you should be grateful for. If he wants to bury this project, he can, it's his choice.
